I'm not sure if there's a topic about this already, but hey, the admins can always merge them.

Down to business. Dragonheart, my personal favourite, a movie that came out in 1996. Only one of two movies to ever make me cry, the other being Bambie (oh come on, who hasn't cried to that one. Those who claim to have not are lying outright). Discuss about the film, it's sequel (meh, not as good but not horrible) or even the soundtrack that I still hear being use to this day (To The Stars).

And for those that haven't seen it, I strongly recommend you do.

I have, indeed, seen it. And, like just about any Sean Connery film, it is awesome. That is all.

Anyone think that if a new one was made, with new special effects, it would be more awesome?

It's been ages since I've seen this movie. I need to get it on DVD.

The first one is great, the second was ok (I saw them in reverse order and I still think so.) Bowan and Brother Gilbert were badass, and so was Draco (Partially for him being a badass dragon, partially for having Sean Connery's voice.) The score was beautiful, specifically "To The Stars." That plus Draco's death rebirth in the night sky got me teary-eyed (Damn you Randy Edelman!)

A new one would probably look better, but I don't think it would have the same feeling as the original. Plus it would probably end up being even more cheesy.
