Dragonite Art

Here is the first fan art I'm posting here. I already showed off this fan art along with a dratini and dragonair one, but I decided to just show the dragonite one. Enjoy.

What type of materials did you use to make this?

It looks like MS paint was used to create it but did you use a touch pad? Roller Mouse?

For some reason it looks like you'd do better making a picture by hand from the way it seems to be crafted. And if that's true I suggest you up date you mouse, or learn how to clean up your images, because it seems you can draw well already.

Oh yes I did use MS Paint. During that time I didn't even know how to scan. I used a mouse. It is one of those mouses that uses laser or something to move the arrow.

With a mouse like that, if you take it slow, you should be able to get smoother lines. Or, you could use the line tools, too. Dragonite is fairly round, so the Curve tool would be really good for it ^^ (the Curve tool takes some time to get used to, but it's very handy once you have the hang of it)

As bell02 said, the drawing itself is pretty good. Taking the time to clean up some of those stray lines would be nice. ^^ Stray lines are pretty distracting, yanno?

Yes! I agree with whomever said they liked Paintbrush! I've created many a masterpieces with that! :-D (Non Pokémon)

The Dragonair isn't that good though. It is pretty lopsided. I guess I will show the rest though.

Ok, I decided to show the Dratini and Dragonair one. For the Dragonair one I had difficulty completley filling in with the paint option. Yes, they also were done with paint.

A little advice for you, Masato: there's an edit option to edit your posts. Next time take it into account so you don't double post.

The bottom of the dragonite seems a bit too large, although that could be fixed by making the legs bigger. They look a bit... creepy, I guess, but there's not much you can do if all you have is MS Paint.

Oooh! Sorry I'm so late! XD I'm glad you decided to show the other ones. The dragonair's face is SOOOO cute! It looks so curious, and it's just majorly kawaii! And the dratini has a really cute face too!

I REALLY want to catch that particular Dragonair! It also looks feminine in a way. I just can't describe it. Anyway, nicely done!

I know it's hard to use paintbrush to fill in everything. But I think it makes it look more like a really good quality sketch of Dragonair, rather than a photo-realistic one which most people go for.

The dratini looks kind of stiff though. I think it needs to loosen up a little.
