Did anyone pick up their special Dragonite from Toys R Us today? Does anyone plan on using it? I think I'm going to keep mine at level 50 since that'll just make it all the more rare.
 
I don't know whether or not I'm going, there's still like 3 hours left. I probably have no plans to ever enter a Nintendo tournament, although the world doubles tourney may be coming to my city next year.

I think having a three Wonder Card limit in the games is stupid. I still haven't SR'd for the PBR Magmortar, Darkrai, or Deoxys (the latter of which I've been doing right now for about 45 minutes and not getting a good one), and I just had to use the Electivire one at Gamestop in order to get the Deoxys. x_x;
 
I uh, decided not to go. I was busy with job hunting and decided eh, it's no big deal. It's not like I'm missing out on an exclusive legendary with some badass moveset or anything. It would be nice to have since I consider myself a collector, but this didn't really raise that flag to me.
 
I got two of them and I traded one already. The other one I'm currently trying to get decent IV's or a shiny one.
 
Just posting again to say that I am going at this point, but may only get one instead of two, because I got a nice Modest Deoxys that would be perfect for a Specs set or a specially based LO set or something (and the fact that I got sick of SRing).

EDIT;; So getting two because I got an ok Naughty one that at least satisfies some of what I wanted as well.
 
The scariest thing ever just happened to me after the event. I got two of the Dragonites and saved the game 4 times just to be safe. When I went to turn on the game again it said "Data could not be read." I said to myself out load, "I'm going to pretend I didn't just see that." I restart the game and I got the same message. I took the game out, put it back in, and restarted it and it worked.

If I had lost 300 hours worth of gameplay because of this event, Nintendo would owe me a hell of a lot more than a new copy of the game.
 
I got it on both of my games. On Diamond, I got a 31 Speed IV on my first try. On Pearl, I got a 31 Attack IV on my first try. Do they always have at least one 31 IV, or was I just extremely lucky?
 
Extreme luck. I got 30s in both Att and SAtt, 28 for HP, 23 for Spd and Def...and 0 for SDef on my first try. <.< If it hadn't been for that last one, I wouldn't have reset.
 
Yeah, I went on Saturday. My dad went with me since he had to go to the Lowe's right near there, and we ended up buying $165 worth of crap as my Christmas presents. :x (Using a $50 discount he had and the $5 coupon they gave out, we got it down to $110.)

We also randomly found Pokémon gift wrap right at the entrance. I had to buy it. XD

Seriously. It pained me to have to delete my Gamestop Deoxys Wonder Card. :/ Exactly what purpose does the limit have?
 
i went to the event today. the store didnt have many people (but the game aisle was packed with people for a few min.) And there were issues with the ds that sent out the signal (it wasnt turned on.) But i got the dragonite and SR'd for better stats.
 
Prime and I got ours on Saturday. It was really busy in TRU; it seems all the hunting widows were out doing their Christmas shopping. The checkout lines were unbelievably long. o_O

Now the SRing will begin. Hope I get a good one.

If there wasn't a limit, at some point, the game's memory would fill up and it would crash and you'd lose everything and have to start over.

But it's level 50, which is otherwise impossible.
 
I went, But I"m having trouble with the SR-ing. I SR-ed about 10 times so far, and all it gives me is naughty. With the SAME IV's, WTF. XD

But yesh, It's pretty cool. The wondercard limit is wayy lame. They could at least give you 5, but I guess the limit serve's it's purpose :S
