My third DQ rpg and yes I am actually that addicted to DragonQuest:-D
Basic Plot:There are divine beings known as Celestrians who come to Earth to assist the mortals. The Celestrians gather our Benevolessence and sacrifice it to the mighty tree, Yggdrasil, so she will bear fruit at long last and the Starflight Express will come and take the Celestrians to the Realm of the Almighty.
A young Celestrian has recently been appointed to take over her master's duty of protecting a small village known as Angel Falls. She serves as their guardian and watches over them, collecting Fyggs as she does so.
One night, Yggdrasil looks ready to bloom and after one final offering, the sacred Fyggs finally begin to bloom on Yggdrasil's branches and the golden train, the Starflight Express arrives.
However, there is a strange strike of thunder and the Starflight Express collapses out of the sky and falls onto the Earth below. The Fyggs begin to fall off of their branches and scatter throughout the Earth. The young guardian feels herself being pulled by an unknown force and finds herself falling to the Earth, losing her halo and wings as she does so.
When the young guardian wakes up, she bears the appearance of a normal human and is amongst other humans who think that she is a strange ministrel. The young guardian sets out on a journey to become a Celestrian again and finds many allies along the way.
Terms
Fygg - Sacred fruit that are told to grow Yggdrasil's branches and bring the Celestrians to the realm of the Almighty.
Benevolessence - A crystal of human gratitude.
Starflight Express - A golden train, said to carry the Celestrians into the realm of the Almighty
Stella - A sassy female fairy and pilot of the Starflight Express.
Celestrians - Immortal beings who carry the duty of protecting and watching over the mortals from Earth.
Aquila - A senior Celestrian who teaches the guardian everything she knows.
Apus Major - Oldest and wisest of the Celestrians
