Drayton & Archaludon debut in Pokémon Masters EX alongside League Club Problem Child Story Event, plus Paldea Fest Rally

Drayton & Archaludon made their Pokémon Masters EX debut today alongside the launch of the League Club Problem Child Story Event. Also commencing today was the Paldea Fest Rally, bringing with it a variety of bonuses and special events.

Story Event: League Club Problem Child
League Club Problem Child sees Kieran trying to reconcile with Drayton after the latter arrives on Pasio. This event will run through to June 7th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Despite some errors in the official news update which would suggest otherwise, this event follows the simplified format for Story Events, where players will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Players will need to collect a total of 10,000 Event Points for this event in order to receive all possible rewards. Featured event rewards include 5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Strike Move Candy Coin, 5★ Power-Ups, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feathers 23 and 124, custom Sync Orbs for Drayton & Archaludon and Sygna Suit Kieran & Furret, and Lucky Cookies for Drayton & Archaludon, Sygna Suit Kieran & Furret, and Clair & Kingdra.

As usual for events of this type, players will receive bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Drayton & Archaludon: +60% (×1.6) Bonus Rewards
• Lacey & Granbull, Hassel & Baxcalibur, Juliana & Koraidon, and Paulo & Lycanroc: +40% (×1.4) Bonus Rewards
• Hop & Zacian: +20% (×1.2) Bonus Rewards
• All other Sync Pairs with the Paldea Theme Skill: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Drayton & Archaludon, Lacey & Granbull, and Hassel & Baxcalibur would grant a combined +140% (×2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST) / 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.

Paldea Fest Rally
A selection of bonuses and events are commencing today, celebrating Sync Pairs from Paldea.

Mission Bingo
A new Mission Bingo has been added for this Paldea Fest Rally. Completing each phase of this Mission Bingo will let players team up with Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs from Paldea through the Paldea Fair-Exclusive Guaranteed Ticket Scout (see below).

The missions for this Mission Bingo are as follows:

• Explore - Complete any of the following areas a total of 2 times:
  • A Challenge from Paldea: Days 1-10, single-player (Super Hard)
• Explore - Complete any of the following areas a total of 5 times:
  • A Challenge from Paldea: Days 1-10, single-player (Super Hard)
• Explore - Complete any of the following areas a total of 7 times:
  • A Challenge from Paldea: Days 1-10, single-player (Super Hard)
• Collect - Complete "Geeta" in the special event Pasio Super Special Stadium ×1
• Explore - Complete any of the following areas a total of 30 times:
  • Challenge Lacey: Parts 1-4 (Normal - Super Hard)
  • Daily Extreme Battle 1, single-player (Ultra Hard)
• Explore - Complete any of the following areas a total of 50 times:
  • Challenge Lacey: Parts 1-4 (Normal - Super Hard)

Each of these missions awards Gems ×500 on completion. Completing all Bingos will award (in total) 4★ Level-Up Manual ×70, 5★ Power-Up ×10, Co-op Sync Orb ×1,000, a Move Candy Coin, and two Paldea Fair-Exclusive Gtd. Tickets.

Log-In Bonus
A special log-in bonus over 3 days will be running alongside this rally, ending May 10th, at 10:59pm (PDT). The rewards being offered each day for this log-in bonus are expected to be as follows:

• Days 3: Gems ×300

10 Days of Daily Battles: Paldea Battle Tour
Players will face a series of ten limited time battles that are each available for one day only, earning 100 gems for each stage completed, as well as contributing towards their Paldea Fest Rally Mission Bingo.

Each battle will go live at 10:00pm (PST) each day, remaining available until it is replaced the next day. Each battles is classed at the "Super Hard" level of difficulty with opponents at Level 110, which in practice means most experienced players should have little trouble defeating them even without an optimized team.

Players should also note the following for this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.

Extreme Battle Event: Beat Pasio's Best
Players will face off in separate battles against Cynthia, Kris, Dawn, Brock, and Arven in this new Extreme Battle Event, running through to May 10th at 10:59pm (PDT)

The first Battle, Take on Cynthia!, is available now. Each subsequent battle will unlock at a rate of 1 per day, starting with Take on Kris later today at 11:00pm (PDT). Players will earn 300 gems for each stage completed.

Sync Pairs in player's teams with the Normal, Grass, Paldea, Main Character, Elite Four, or Rival Themes will receive ×5.0 boosts to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk., and Sp. Def. stats when used for this event.

Players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier to participate in this event.

Story Replay
Past Story Events featuring Sync Pairs from Paldea will be making their return as part of this Paldea Fest Rally.

Two story events, Five Friends' Treasure Hunt and From Kitakami-Continued are available to experience right now. These feature only the stories from these events, rather than the full story event. A further Story Event will return on May 2nd.

Special Event: Pasio Super Special Stadium
A new limited-time Champion Stadium will commence on April 30th, with various special rules focused around teams including Sync Pairs with the Paldea theme.

Team up with Sync Pairs from Blueberry Academy and Paldea
Drayton EX Fair
Drayton & Archaludon make their debut in this limited-time set of EX Fair Scout available in-game now, and which will run through to June 7th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

EX Fair Scouts are the Poké Fair equivalent of EX Master Fair Scouts, with an offering rate of 2% for the featured Sync Pair, 1% for additional featured 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs (0.5% each), and 10% for other 5★ Sync Pairs, which may include other Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs. Like with normal Poké Fair Scouts, EX Fair Scouts require 400 scout points before players are able to get a free selection of any one Sync Pair available in the Scout.

The two Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs who will join Drayton & Archaludon in this scout are Iris (Alt.) & Hydreigon, and Sygna Suit Brandan & Latios.

The Drayton EX Fair includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout. The first twelve times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:

• 1st-4th Scout: Tech Move Candy Coin ×1
• 5th Scout: Superawakening Candy ×1
• 6th-9th Sout: Tech Move Candy Coin ×2
• 10th Scout: Superawakening Candy ×1
• 11th-12th Scout: Tech Move Candy Coin ×2

In addition, players who team up with Drayton & Archaludon in this scout will also receive Strike Roll Cake ×4 and 5★ Power-Up ×4 each time they scout the pair, up to 5 times.

Drayton & Archaludon are a 5★ Dragon-type Tech Role Sync Pair with an unlockable Strike EX Role, and the ability to Sync Terastallize. Raising them to 6★ EX Status changes their outfit from from a black jacket with gold highlights over a white and blue shirt, to a blue jacket with red highlights over a black and gold shirt.

Drayton Gem Emote
A special Gems with Gym Emotes offer is available from the in-game shop alongside the Drayton EX Scout, allowing players to obtain a Drayton Gym Emote as a present. This offer, which comes with 250 paid gems, can be purchased under the With Emotes tab in the Purchase Gems menu of the in-game shop until June 7th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Paid-Gem: 5★-Select Master Fair Tiered Scout
This special Master Fair Scout requiring Paid Gems and featuring six fair-exclusive Sync Pairs will run through to May 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

The six pairs featured in this scout are:

• Florian & Miraidon
• Geeta & Glimmora
• Juliana & Koraidon
• Kieran & Hydrapple
• Sygna Suit Nemona & Scream Tail

As normal for Master Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 12% chance of appearing in this scout, with the featured pairs having an elevated offering rate of 0.166% each compared to the 0.146% of other 5★ sync pairs

This scout has five Sync Pair Scout ×11 tiers. Players are able to scout once on each tier by using Paid Gems, with the amount of gems increasing with each tier. Each tiers grants the player additional in-game rewards.

• Tier 2: 2,000 Paid Gems - Superawakening Candy ×2

Paldea Fair-Exclusive Guaranteed Ticket Scout
As part of the Paldea Fest Rally, a special Guaranteed Ticket Scout is now available featuring eighteen fair-exclusive Sync Pairs from the Paldea region, running through to May 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

As the name suggests, a Paldea Fair-Exclusive Gtd. Ticket is needed for this scout, which will grant players one of the eighteen featured sync pairs at random, guaranteed.

Sync Pair Upgrades
Alongside today's various events, the following Sync Pairs have received new Blueberry Academy Themes and Theme Skills:
