Saw some Hearttagshipping moments so why not write a quick fic about it
A harsh battle was fought before the league and Ash won with his partner Pikachu. Slowking did pull through but lost, and Conway felt real upset. Conway saw Ash looking real happy and hugging his Pikachu with a smile on his face. Brock thought the situation was funny and so did Dawn. The sweet blue eyed girl who Conway really liked. "Sorry I lost it..." Conway whispered as he let his Slowking back inside his poke ball. Dawn looked at Conway and how upset he was.
"Why's he?" Dawn asked but Ash cut her off.
"Hey Dawn? You want to go grab a bite to eat before we go to bed?" Ash asked. Dawn nodded her head yes.
"Conway do you-" Dawn asked but noticed he disappeared. 'Where did he go?" Dawn asked herself. She followed Ash and Brock to a resturant holding her penguin partner Piplup in her arms. Piplup knew why Conway was real upset. Slowking told him how his trainer felt during the tag battle tournament in Hearthome City.
Conway was walking down the woodland trail his head held down. "Why did I have to lose to him and in front of Dawn? It just doesn't add up I knew Ash had the advantage but somehow that Pikachu took my team down one by one" he whispered. A Thunderbolt barely missed electriction. "Must be a new trainer out there" he whispered. A Weavile was blasted out of a tree and hit Conway in the stomach knocking him down. "Agh" he mumbled in pain. The Weavile was also KO'd
"Weavile get back here" a voice said as an Electabuzz came out. Some purple haired trainer called the pokemon back into its poke ball. "What the? Haven't I seen you before nerd?" he asked in a rude tone.
"Actually foe I seem to remember you being a partner with Ash" Conway said as he got up.
"And you were with whatshername" Paul said in monotone.
"Yes...my beautiful blue flower with sapphire colored eyes" Conway whispered with a heart flying above his head. "I mean yes her name was Dawn" he snapped back.
"...I'm guessing you and her are" Paul started to say.
"No! We're not that close!" Conway shouted. His glasses dropped off his ears and he fell to the ground trying to find them.
"If you like her so much say something since that little kid is too retarded to learn what love is" Paul commented and walked away.
"My glasses! I cannot see without them!" Conway whined as he was crawling around. Electabuzz tossed them to Conway and they landed on his face before running after his trainer. "Tough people..." Conway whispered as he sat up.
"Wow those were some good burgers huh?" Ash asked Brock. Pikachu smiled as he rubbed his full tummy.
"Yeah they were" Brock replied. Croagunk nodded and laughed before looking around for Dawn. "I guess Dawn got caught up with window shopping" Brock said to his pokemon.
"Well she knows what Pokemon Center we're staying at" Ash smiled and petted Pikachu on the head. "I think we should head in now for some early training tomorrow" he said again. His Pikachu nodded.
"Its easy to ditch those two after they ate isn't it Piplup?" Dawn asked. Piplup chiped in agreement. She was walking through the streets and tried not to bump into people. "Ahh!" she cried as she bumped into a wall. Turns out it wasn't a wall it was an Empoleon! "Hey where did you learn crashing into someone's pokemon!? I oughta fiune you for that!" a familiar voice shouted. "Barry?" Dawn asked.
"Dawn?" Barry said as he stepped under the street lamp. His Empoleon laughed at how Dawn bumped into him. "What're you doing out here? Lose your Ash?" Barry teased.
"Oh shut up Barry you know we're not going steady!" Dawn shouted with annoyance. Piplup giggled knowing who likes her.
"Right so what about that guy in the glasses I saw him gazing at you with lovestricken eyeballs during the battle" Barry said agian. Empoleon nodded.
"That was Conway...and he just knows me since we were tag battle partners, and he really wants to be my friend" Dawn replied and pushed Barry out of the way.
"Well I just have to say he might like you even Paul knows that" Barry said.
"What? That jerk doesn't even know my name!" Dawn shouted. She blushed at the thought of Conway trying to display his feelings towards her.
"...So what I like someone who's real tough...I like my rival from Twinleaf Town she has an Infernape and she is real cute" Barry explained.
"I don't care!" Dawn shouted and ran off.
"Issues much huh Empoleon?" Barry asked. Empoleon sighed. Dawn then ran off into the woods and saw it was dark.
"I can't see too good in the dark" she mumbled. She let Piplup back inside its poke ball. A Haunter popped up behind her and used Hypnosis on her. It also used Nightmare before disappearing with a loud laugh.
"Heracross you really know how to make good use of a tree branch during the harsh darkness of a forest area at night" Conway said to his Heracross holding a branch that was on fire. Conway tripped on a branch and landed face first next to Dawn who was flinching in her sleep. "Whats wrong with her?" Conway whispered. Heracross shrugged as Conway pulled out a book. "Hmmm?" Conway asked as he read a part of the book. "Oh maybe its like sleeping beauty when the prince kisses the princess...well I dont know if I can be a prince" Conway said as he put the book away.
Pretty soon he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. Dawn stopped flinching and opened her eyes. *Wow...they were right...bitter and sweet dreams* Dawn thought as she shut her eyes again.
