Dub-inserted BGMs that originated in Japan?

Has any official dubbing studio ever taken original Japanese music and played it where it didn't play in the original, instead of using in-house music?

several of DiC's pieces in their dub of the first two Sailor Moon series were done to the same tune as the Japanese opening, Moonlight Densetsu (for that matter, the English opening was based off of it as well). However, I don't think any of them were actually produced in Japan, so it may not count.

I'm pretty sure Jirarudan's Theme wasn't originally in Address Unown
