I was always curious at which method of viewing the Pokemon anime was preferred here.

Me, I like dubbed simply because it's in a language I can actually understand and they're good for the most part about keeping my favorite music scores. Subbed comes in a close second(even though I haven't see them much, really.)
 
Subbed, followed by raw. Even though I watch the dub every week, the original is better in every way.
 
I prefer the dub for several reasons:

1. It's in Engish.
2. I love the voice acting. (Seasons 1-8 only)
3. I grew up watching it.

With that said, I do watch the raw and the sub sometimes and do enjoy it. :)
 
I really enjoy raw the most; dubbed comes in second. I've only seen one subbed, and that's the tenth movie, so I can't really comment without seeing more.
 
I prefer subbed because of the VA and the music. There's also a lot more voice variation. I don't particularly like filling in the blanks in the raw. The dub can get too silly and childish sometimes. I also hate Cartoon Network.
 
I like the subbed episode, because I don't understand Japanese. Plus, I like the Jap. songs better than English songs. Plus, the raw has some things the dubbed edited out.
 
I personally prefer subs, but finding them is a hassle for me so I just watch the dub. @___@
 
I allways prefer subbed anime. But in Pokémon, subs are really rare, threfore I'm watching both Raw and dub. Raw because I am too curious to see whats happening in latest episode and dub because it usually is the only way to undestand episodes.
 
Subs when I can get them, which of course is rare. But I'll take the dub and raw about equally, they both have their perks.
 
I just watch the dub. I have seen clips of the raw, some of which were subbed. I would take the dub over it, simply to better understand it. I honestly see little difference in the experience.
 
Before I watched any episodes in Japanese, about over a year ago now, I probably would've said "why would I want to watch it in a language I can't understand when it's in English?". After watching a few of the banned episodes I decided to watch the 1st AG episode subbed and began to realise that the voice acting and music was much better. But really, I've only just started to keep up with the Japanese version because I wanted to see May. So I decided to keep up with both the raw, to hear the better voice acting (even tough I don't undersand what they're saying) and the better music and dub so I can understand what exactly's going on.

So, to answer the question - sub, raw then dub.
 
I like subs when they're not blown out of proportion, like Ash saying a bunch of GODDAMNS, FUCKING BASTARD SHITS, and YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT like in some subs. But I prefer dubs overall.
 
I watched the dub for years so the Japanese voices sound weird to me. That's the case with a lot of the anime I watch; I stick with whatever I watched the shows in first because the other sounds too different.
 
I'm a raw watcher. I dont have many subbed episodes, except for a Shinji episode, parody episodes and Porygon/Holiday at Acapulco.

I watch 4kids dub but not Pusa

I dont like watching subtitled anime because reading the subtitles makes it harder to watch the show. Unlike in a videogame like Zelda where you can press a button to continue the "movie", anime, you have to manually pause and it gets annoying.

I love anime art and I watch anime for it's art a lot of the time. That's why I prefer anime dub and Pokemon raw, because with Pokemon, I know what's going on while with other anime I dont.

I actually find it odd how I can go from watching subtitled anime like Haruhi and Lucky-star and convert to the dub with no problem, unlike most people I know.
 
It depends on the episode. I prefer dubbed for Kanto and Johto episodes, because of nostaliga, and because the dub was actually pretty good back then. I haven't seen any Hoenn or BF episodes subbed or raw, but I didn't really like the dub for those, so for Hoenn and onwards, subbed, then raw, then dub.
 
There's problems with all of them. Like with dub and sub, you're at the mercy of the translators, and with the raw, you have to know the language *really* well.

Usually I go with the dub though. I can always look up any translation glitches (which I do with my fansubs too...and probably would if there were official subs too) should the need arise. It's better than having to have someone tell me what's going on every time something confusing comes up.
 
I never understood the whole "subs distract the gorgeous artwork" argument. I mean...if you're watching the subbed version, your eyes are already focused on the TV screen, making it easier for you to concentrate on the art. Not harder.

With dubs, on the other hand, you have the potential to just put the show on as background noise (something you can't do with subs unless you *really* understand the language), making it less likely that you'll see all the artwork people complain about not being able to see because of "obtrusive" subtitles.
