Dudunsparce makes its Pokémon GO debut later this month in the Completely Normal event, running from September 23rd-27th

Ditto and other Normal-type Pokémon are being featured in Pokémon GO later this month in the Completely Normal event, running from Tuesday, September 23rd, at 10:00am to Saturday, September 27th, at 8:00pm local time. The Land Snake Pokémon Dudunsparce will make its Pokémon GO debut as part of this event.

Starting from this event, Trainers will be able to use 50 Dunsparce Candy to evolve Dunsparce into Dudunsparce.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active throughout the event period:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
• 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Dunsparce.
• Increased chance to encounter Ditto.

New Ditto Transformations in the Wild
Starting from this event, Ditto will now be changing into different Pokémon in the wild. This is a permanent change to Ditto's behavior, and this will continue after the event has ended.

New Avatar Item
The Dudunsparce Onesie avatar item will be available to purchase in the in-game shop starting from this event. This item is a permanent addition to the shop, and will remain available after the event has ended.

Collection Challenges
Event-themed catch- and Evolution-focused Collection Challenges will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these will receive XP, one Lure Module, and encounters with Dunsparce.

Field Research
Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive items, XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon including (but not limited) to Miltank, Spinda, and Dunsparce.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to purchase access to event-exclusive Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Trainers completing this research will receive 5,000 XP, two Lucky Eggs, and encounters with Dunsparce.

Trainers may gift this event-exclusive ticket to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, September 27th, at 8:00pm local time.

Completely Normal Ultra Ticket Box
A Completely Normal Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, plus three bonus Max Revives.
