One of the largest and most anticipated gaming event of the year is just around the corner. Do you have any hopes or expectations for this year? Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to? What are your thoughts on everything that's been announced/revealed thus far? Do you feel that with companies continuing to opt out of attending E3 in favor of their own announcement events the expo is becoming obsolete?
Press conferences begin streaming today, with the main festivities running from June 13-15.

I feel the event still serves purpose to some degree. Even for companies pulling out, they're still inclined to keep their own shows in close proximity with E3. (For now at least.)
Given that EA is on right now, I don't personally have much to discuss. I do, however, hope for news on Xenoblade 2. I also want to know more about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon if Game Freak is inclined to share anything. There's also the new Shin Megami Tensei game among other titles I'm looking forward to.
In terms of announcements I'm hoping for, I'm still holding out for a dream announcement of a new Mega Man X game or something. Also hoping to hear from the Devil May Cry series soon.

Looking forward to potential Dishonored 2 DLC at Bethesda's conference. Anything that gives me more of Dishonored's world and gameplay is fine with me.

God of War, for another game we know exists, is one I'm anticipating seeing more of.

For games we don't know, I'll hope for Bloodborne 2 or something related to that. Much prefer it over Dark Souls and would love another game using its setting and mechanics.

Kinda maybe looking forward to seeing what the new Assassin's Creed is like. I've gotten tired of the series, but they took a break year and it sounds like they overhauled a lot. So that might surprise me maybe?

I don't really have much excitement for E3 this year, just a few little bits. Maybe something will be announced that will surprise me. I was hoping to see more of Red Dead 2, but that's been confirmed to not be there iirc.

So excited for the xbox and nintendo briefings, they are the ones that continue to wow me year after year
And my xbox one is lonely right now since I beat halo wars 2 anyways

Not to terribly impressed by anything that's come from E3 so. In fact Microsoft's E3 has be really lame so far. That Xbox One X is so unimpressive and its got the worst name. Scorpio was better then that. The new Kingdom Hearts trailer was more exciting then the "X" and it just some very familiar looking combat. I'm hoping Sony and Nintendo aren't the same let down.

I take back not being impressed. I just saw that Code Vein got announced for next year. That's something I'm pretty excited for.

Original xbox on xbox one
Forza 7
Minecraft cross play
Code vein
Xbox one X (stupid name though)
Ori sequel
New bioware game

I knew microsoft would wow me but this is beyond words

And battlefront 2 looks good despite being EA

Also dissdia arcade is finally coming to ps4

EDIT: so the evil within 2 looks amazing, but I'll never play it due to being horror and why wolfenstien 2? the new order was a sequel to return and 09, and the old blood was a prequel that is set after return but is essentially a remake of that game, oh well, doesn't mean it won't be fun.

I got my Dishonored fix woo! That's me happy. :D Anything else that happens is a plus. But so far things the conferences seem kinda slow and boring.

I'm just waiting patiently for Sony and Nintendo's shows as per usual lol.

I'm stoked for Playerunknown's Battlegrounds coming to consoles (Xbox "launch exclusive", meaning it'll branch out to Switch PS4 at some point). Original Xbox games being backwards compatible on Xbox One is cool, and dude IF THEY MAKE SHENMUE 2 PLAYABLE ON XBOX ONE I WILL BUY THAT $499 XXXBOX X ONE XXX X NO QUESTIONS ASKED PLEASE MICRO$OFT--

Super Duper Graphics Minecraft looks cool too.

Nintendo is what I always look forward to during the E3 time frame... I check other companies at times, but to me, Nintendo seems to be one of the few game makers that know what 'fun' means.

I'm screaming for an announcement of a main series Animal Crossing on the Switch. And no, not the microtransaction blither supposedly coming to cell phones. :/

Sony's show is almost here. Here's to hoping for Bloodborne 2, among other titles.
Edit: Well that was disappointing.

^ I totally agree. I wasn't expecting a FF7 remake trailer or anything, but that was kind of underwhelming. The only thing that got me excited was the Shadow of the Colossus remake!

The Spider-Man trailer was interesting but by then it was too little too late. I didn't think I'd be saying this but I think Microsoft had the better show lol. And they didn't exactly set the bar high. That just leaves Nintendo now. Wonder if Nintendo is going to deliver this year.

Meh ... I'm the type who doesn't really get into E3 while it's on, but I do enjoy reading about all the events & coverage after the fact. So while I have seen a few bits of news so far, I'm not impressed.

Oh, except for that Ori and the Blind Forest is getting a sequel!

Other then COD, Destiny, and GT Sport I enjoyed everything Sony showed. Even the stuff for that silly zombie game Days Gone looked pretty good. I might even actually play Undertale now that its getting a physical release for the PS4/Vita.

The champion from Sony was obviously Creatures of the Deep FF XV. Who didnt want a dangerous fishing VR game set in FF universe! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I keep forgetting Wolfenstein has Nazis, so when I saw the trailer I thought it was a new IP. Probably the game I'm most excited for (that whole segment was great), even though it may be a while before I play it.

Super Lucky's Tale looks cute. I'm a sucker for this kind of art style, but it looks fun.

Also, when's the last time a major Nintendo title was announced outside of Nintendo's conference/direct at E3?

I am not interested in other E3 conferences, besides Nintendo's of course. It's also the only one I am willing to stay up for, since it's 12 am (Wednesday) where I am, so it's a feasible time slot for me.

It's good that Ubisoft's Conference is the one hosting the Mario + Rabbids game, because they were the ones who pitched the idea, so of course they got the right. I am intrigued by this idea, although the XCOM thing is odd since I am not much of XCOM. But still, it's Mario, so of course I would want to play this.

Microsoft has some nice games too, and the two that interested me are Super Lucky's Tale and Cuphead, mainly for the art styles.

Thanks for reading.
