EA makes commercial out of "glitch" from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08

So this guy finds this glitch in the game that lets Tiger Woods not just walk on water, but play golf in it. After finding this out, what does EA Marketing decide to do? Make it into a commercial, of course!

That's a pretty spectacular way to react to that video, just to call Tiger Woods and have him do a video just for that fan video is truly impressive. Clever, creative and dedicated PR team you have there, definitely a smooth move they made there!

Next comes nintendo's Japanese D/P Ad, showing a squirtle breaking a door by spitting water at it.
 
That's funny and all...

... but it doesn't mean they shouldn't FIX that bug. >:p
 
EA, you make halfway-decent games. Please, put your marketing department in charge of game development. You'll do so much better.
 
Problem is too many sequels to old games, instead of fresh new bursts of creativity with completely new gameplay. As well as having too many series that do not change from one generation to the next.
 
They'd hardly be the only ones. You don't have to think very hard to come up with other examples. But don't, since it would be off-topic.
