I say we need a unicorn. A real one--Rapidash doesn't cut it. Maybe it could only be approached by females, and have a brother legend that can only be approached by males. Of course you could trade, but hey.

Maybe the male one could be a gryphon.

There could be an Androsphinx and a Gynosphinx as well, speaking of gender lines. They could be the new Latis. Ground/Flying, maybe? Rock/Psychic?

I'd also like to see a raven legendary, to go with the legendary position ravens hold in so many Native American tribal stories. Dark/Psychic?

A scarab beetle could satisify people's calling for a Bug-type Legendary.

A raven Pokémon would probably end up being real similar to Murkrow (though I know that's a crow) but I'm sure they could make it look different enough.

I do like the idea of a unicorn and gryphon. Or for a unicorn counterpart, the lion's a good choice, I believe. Don't think we have any lion Pokémon yet... do we?

The Shinx line and Entei say hi.

A Pegasus would be cool. It could be an Evolution of Rapidash, it could be a Fire/Flying Type. Or perhaps it could be Fire/Psychic (with Leviate).

Entei's a dog...

EDIT: Hmm, for some reason, I thought Entei, Raikou and Suicune were referred to as the Three Legendary Dogs, but it seems the fandom settles for Beasts instead. Still, he seems more dog-like to me so I don't consider him a lion.

Loch Ness Monster. A major monster that does not have a Pokemon Version.
Do Pokemon Trolls exist? Another REALLY popular monster.
As a matter of fact, a Shinigami Pokemon has not make an appearance either.

And as previously mentioned, Greek mythology (god yeah) does have many things not adapted yet. Pegasus, Minotaur, Sirens, Hydra and many others!

Dogs
Things that look like Mew
A clone of Mew
Birds

...

Yeah, Lion sounds good. Something really majestic and huge, about 15 feet tall, with a gold mane and black fur. As for typing, maybe Fire/Psychic?

Hmm, I always thought it was Three Legendary Beasts, with Entei and Raikou having feline characteristics, and Suicune being more wolf - like. When I look closely at Entei, though, it does look abit like an English Mastiff.

EDIT: Oops. I forgot Giratina... ^_^;

I'm really surprised that they haven't had a legendary or non-legendary drafon and fire type, since that seems like an obvious one. I hope there arent too many dragon type legendaries next generation. We're drowning in them. I would like to see one based on an ancient tree.

Unless they gain the rock type due to the fossilization process, then it isn't really necessary, I mean anything can be fossilized, so we could see pure bug type fossil Pokémon or pure water type or whatever.

What do you suppose would be another good combination for a fossil pokemon? It could make sense, as well, that they'd be almost strictly part ground or rock, since they had gone extinct- since there are so few 'species' of them (or were, there'll probably be more), they could've been overpowered by the other wider varieties of pokemon that popped up.

Edit:

Oh yeah, I'd like to see a chimera pokemon, that'd be interesting.

Entei with a stantler head on its back, fearow wings and a seviper for a tail. KAboom!

For my Gen, see sig, I've got the idea for a giant Dung Beetle that created the Rigia Region.

That seems pretty cool...but this dude can like excrete rocks and roll over whole cities if it wants to.
