Tokyo is a nice place. You can go to Shibuya and look at the mannequins in stores. Or go look at the temples in Asakusa. Or maybe go buy some manga in Akihibara. Or one could even get eaten alive by the fire giants.
Normally, the gods keep their servants in one place. Odin makes sure that Dwarves stay out of Japan. And Izanagi doesn't go vacation in Norway. But lately, someone's been tipping the balance in Japan. The prime suspect is Loki, Norse god of chaos. Unfortunately, the beings in the Norse pantheon can't go to Japan without further angering the Japanese pantheon. As such, they have sent Heroes. Since Norse gods are disallowed to give birth to demigods, they instead sometimes bless humans with powers to serve them, called Heroes.
Meanwhile, in Japan, to protect their people, Izanami has called upon the Descendents, people who can trace their lineage back to the gods. However, they aren't necessarily friendly with the Heroes, who they might see as the causes of the demons invading their homeland. And it's possible that an even bigger threat than Loki is about to hit Japan...
Rules:
-No godmodding

-Keep romance PG-13
-This is based on the Percy Jackson series. As such, certain concepts (Such as the mist) exist here that exist there. However, due to the mist, while most people will have heard of the Percy Jackson books, most everyone will simply think that it's a work of fiction. In other words, no knowledge of the series is really needed.
Sign-Ups:
Name: Lucas Ariga
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Lucas is somewhat short, at 5'6. He has longish brown, almost black, hair, and olive colored skin. Physically, he's fairly thin, with a wiry build. His eyes are dark brown, and as far as clothes go, he favors clothes that are good for the outdoors: Usually jeans and a t-shirt.
Likes: Chilling, video games, gardening, flowers
Dislikes: People who aren't chill, being made fun of for being short, birds.
Skills: Lucas is fairly skilled at first aid.
Powers: Lucas can summon rays of light from the sky. He needs to be outside to do it, but things they hit usually become stronger. Warriors hit harder, and slowly heal. He can also animate plants they touch, making servants out of leaves.
Equipment: A large pair of hedge clippers.
God: Freyr, Norse god of sun, rain, and fertile crops.
History: Lucas was always good with plants. His mother's garden was always really nice after he started helping out with it. He eventually started having dreams where Freyr told him that he was chosen by him and he would be needed. He ignored them, since they're just dreams. That is, until the day Freyr came up to him and flat-out told him that he would strangle Lucas to death with petunias if he didn't go to Japan and stop the fire giants attacking people.

Name: What's your character's name?
Gender: Male, female, shemale, bikini, linguine, etc.
Age: Should be younger rather than older.
Appearance: What does your character look like?
Likes: What are some things your character likes?
Dislikes: What doesn't your character like?
Skills: What mundane skills does your character have?
Powers: What powers does your god give you? These are often, but not necessarily, somehow related to the character's god.
Equipment: What does your character keep on them? If it's a magical item, try not to make it too OP.
God: If it's a Norse god, it's the one they pray to for power. If it's a Japanese god, it's your character's divine ancestor. Either way, the god your character is related to doesn't necessarily make your character more or less powerful than another's. A descendant of Take-Mikazuchi could conceivably beat a less skilled person with Odin as their patron god.
History: Doesn't need to be very long. Just explain how they learned they were supposed to be working for a god.
