Bulbapedia Edit Request(s)

All pages listed below link to a page that was moved (Talk:Creation Trio to Talk:pokémon of Myth), I can’t edit the pages and I was clearing the pages that link to it so may someone who can relink these? All three users do not use Bulbapedia anymore, Fabu-Vinny is retired staff + last edit was in 2011, TTEchidna was blocked in 2011, PAK Man last edit was 2020 and part of retired staff. I’m requesting relinking links of Talk:Creation Trio to Talk:pokémon of Myth.

Took care of it! Thanks for bringing it up.

There is an Error on Bulbapedia for the move Roost. I have been playing Platinum and experimenting with breeding Pokemon. I bred a female Murkrow with a male Fearow and the hatched Murkrow had the move Roost in its learnset. I checked Bulbapedia and it did not list Roost as an egg/breed move for Murkrow. I then checked the Roost page and discovered there is not even a column for this move as a breeding move for Gen IV even though this was the generation the move was introduced. There appears to be some mistake with this, or I'm being stupid an oblivious to why this has happened, but according to Bulbapedia Murkrow should not be able to learn Roost through breeding in Gen IV, even though my hatched Murkrow had this move in Platinum.

Roost is a TM move in Gen 4, and if I'm not mistaken, hatchlings can inherit TM moves from their father in Gen 4.

They do, “Prior to Generation VI, if the father knows any moves that are TMs or HMs in that game (and in Crystal, moves that are taught by a Move Tutor) that the baby is also compatible with, it will inherit the move. If a Pokémon species that is gender unknown (such as Magnemite) breeds with Ditto, the resultant baby will inherit any compatible TM or HM moves that the non-Ditto parent knows.”

Oh, I see. I made a mistake my apologies, I should have checked more carefully as to how breeding works as I've never really done it before in Pokémon. Thanks for clearing this up.

This is a repost of my messages in the "suggestions, ideas and problems" thread.
- There's a big mistake on the "gym leader" page.
It says "Radio show "Verity" from Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 mentions a former Bug Catcher and Gym Leader from Sinnoh that became an Elite Four member, likely referring to Aaron."
But there is no radio show called Verity. Instead, there's a TV program named Variety. And the person in the program isn't Aaron, it's a fictional character. That fictional character may have been inspired by Aaron but it's not him.
The mistake is still there.

Looked into this and there was never official confirmation from what I’ve seen, I’ll note it on Aarons page.
Thanks
But the problem is not really the "Variety" thing, it's more that the tv program isn't referencing Aaron. The character is completely fictional, he doesn't have a name, it's not him. We don't know anything about Aaron's background, we can't say he used to be a gym leader or a bug catcher because of a fictional character.
The character is similar because he's part of the Sinnoh elite 4 and he uses bug types, but they're not the same.

Edit : thank you for removing it. I didn't understand because the page still wouldn't show your edit but now it's fine.
I think this page also needs to be edited under Sinnoh section : Gym Leader

Done!

This Category as a redirect to This Category. due to how the tcg illustrator template works, it automatically links to the “illustrations by —“ this isn’t a problem except for Gakuji Nomoto’s because it’s called Photo. by instead of illus. by
There was a built in option in the template that allowed "Illus." to be replaced by "Photo". Seemed to have gotten lost in one of that page's updates, but the problem should be fixed now.

Technically this would be a request for BulbaNews but I digress
Plenty of pages have links to images that exist with a different name, there’s likely more that I didn’t see
I’ve sent links to the wanted file pages mostly out of convenience

I can grab those. I recently went through and fixed the 50 news articles with broken file links, but these aren't showing up for some reason. I'll fix them now

Hi! Sifted through some pages while making myself a collect-em-all spreadsheet and saw that Unfezant and Pyroar weren't on the form differeces list even though the other gender specific differences were.

They are on Gender Differences instead of form differences. Pokémon like Meowstic and Oinkologne have different stats, abilities, and movepools depending on gender but Pyroar and Unfezant’s differences are purely cosmetic.
(Pokédex also recognizes different forms, like Florges with flower color.)
