There's no big reason it fell into obsolescence. Mostly just sustainability and the capabilities of the staff team at the time. We could probably add those two rewards in the mean time, but the need for that page to be given a bigger once-over kind of puts it on the backburner for now. I'll see when we can get to it
 
Can we make each article of noun possessives that end in "S" to "s'" (e.g.: Iris' Axew, Sophocles' Togedemaru)?
 
Is it notable to say while Lucas' previous sync partner was his Infernape. Despite this, he is based on NPC and Dawn has a Turtwig?

I don’t edit biology sections so putting this here,

Simipour’s page should probably mention that it’s eyes aren’t closed, they just look like they are.
The 3D models blink, which is unlike other Pokémon with closed eyes so the eyes are open

We actually had a lengthy discussion about this in the Discord server and settled on it either being too ambiguous or more likely just an anime eye quirk Discord - Group Chat That’s All Fun & Games

Going to counter this argument and note that it's not ambiguous, while I can't find any clips from the anime of Simipour closing it's eyes or showing much expression, petting it in Amie in the Gen VI games shows that it has very, very similar eyelid and eye color which can make it appear ambiguous.

Yep we talked about this, but in a lot of art/appearances, the color difference is negligible or exactly the same

I think a good middle ground is to say the eyes are seemingly closed or something like that, the eyes look closed but may actually be open; kinda how we use “may” in origin sections since it’s not really confirmed or denied that Simipour’s eyes are opened or closed (3d model blinks, art shows little to no difference between eyelid and eye color, etc)

Rather than having it “with its eyes closed” or saying that it’s eyes are opened, just leave it ambiguous

Or maybe just "Though its eyes seem to always be closed, Simipour still appears to "blink" in the games."

EDIT: I do think this might work better as trivia though

I just wanted to point out that the page for the Cyber Pokeball Cyber Poké Ball actually only contains information for the Cyber Superball which is a different product, the Cyber Pokeball/Ultraball was an earlier version based in Hoenn to go along with the Ruby/Sapphire games, while the Superball I think was more Kanto based to go along with Fire Red/Leaf Green (I could be wrong, just assuming based on info on that page such as the starter pokemon and mention of Team Rocket) and each device has slightly different gameplay and features
Just bringing it up because I had a Cyber Pokeball as a kid and picked up a Cyber Ultraball recently, and when I was looking for information on them and their data cards, that page is the top google result and it was pretty confusing
 
I would like to report what I believe is an error on the spelling (naming?) and linking of a move name. The move in question is called "vise grip".The article says that it is spelled "Vice Grip" however the name of the article, link, and all connected details result in "vise grip".
I have went further into the move details of "krabby" which is first on the list of pokemon who can learn this move (by level up). When observing krabby I was not able to find the move itself in its level-up move learn list but found that it can learn this move through the "transfer" mechanic. From what I understand,this move is not available in the newer generations (available up to gen VII). AAdditionally, the same "error" appears in the normal max move power transformation table (max-strike).
I do not have any experience in editing wikipedia or bulbapedia and if possible would like to be guided through the process of doing so, specifically if it includes issues on multiple pages.

The move was changed from Vice Grip to Vise Grip starting in Generation VIII.

To give a proper answer to this, it's so Template:TP works as intended as the template has the "-'s" by default (so Iris' Axew would not work with the template). Also both s' and s's are grammatically correct anyway.
 
Hello! I don't know where else to put this, but I thought I'd let the editors know:
The link from Part 5 of the Red and Blue walkthrough leading to Part 6 links to the wrong page. Instead of linking to "Walkthrough: Pokemon Red and Blue Part 6", it links to "Walkthrough: Red and Blue Part 6" (which obviously doesn't exist).
Thanks for all the work you guys do!
 
Midnight Lycanroc can learn Sucker Punch via Egg Move (and Mirror Herb) through Rockruff in Scarlet and Violet, but the wiki doesn't show this.
