Considering that every time an article like this is posted, it devolves into people holding Bulbagarden to the double standards of having the professionality of actual news outlets without being allowed to do anything that other news outlets do (i.e. posting editorials) outside of posting actual news, why not have a sub-section to separate the two, because apparently the title of the article isn't enough of a hint as to its content.

That or write in big caps letters "EDITORIAL" in the thread title. Or rules against complaining about there being editorials rather than commenting on the content itself.

Won't really get rid of the double standard, though.

I'd vote for the rules.

Easier to impose a rule considering these articles aren't on the same forum space as news articles.

People just seem to click on those things to complain. I doubt they even read it. Actually, I'd rather have (EDITORIAL) tagged onto the thread title (not necessarily the article itself) since people are lacking common sense along side with the rules.

Perhaps have a special template for marking editorial columns as opposed to regular columns on Bulbanews itself?

...which would then result in BulbaBot marking it as an editorial here?

We could have Alakazam as the mascot :p

We've been working on special accommodations for columns for a while now. Can't really say anything specific quite yet without potentially making an empty promise, but we've tossed around ideas like separate RSS feeds for columns and articles and different ways of organizing things on the main page of Bulbapedia. Currently our tech guys are busy, but we hear that people are dissatisfied with the way things are and you aren't being ignored.

Oh I'm not dissatisfied, I'm just helping people throw around ideas.
