Drug abuse, busy schedule, injuries, etc etc it all piles up and then they start dropping like flies. In the end it's their fault.

true... *sigh* see, being overworked does kill you

I'll remember him best from when Vince McMahon picked him when he made that bet with Donald Trump a while back. They both picked wrestlers and made a bet as to who would win. It was like a pokemon battle with humans.

Yeah, I was hearing about this earlier today. The scary part is, he was released from WWE for violating the Wellness Policy for the second time, and he refused help.

IIRC, he last fought Mr. Kennedy on Hogan's Hulkamania Tour. If my memory served me correct, that's two wrestlers who Kennedy has had the honor of having their last match with before their death (the other was Eddie Guerrero). Sucks too, because he was one of the few big guys in wrestling who was interesting to watch.

The "thumb to the throat" finisher ruined it for me.

Wow. He's dead now too? What's with all these deaths lately. ><

This was pretty much akin to how Guerrero died. His heart just gave out. It's always a sad day when a wrestler dies because many of them have extremely short lives. Like Test earlier.

The oddest thing is, last weekend he wrestled and looked as fine as ever before here in Sydney. Shit happens. Samoan spike 'em in Heaven, Eddie :(

i hate when people just immmediately assume its drug abuse....oh steroids this and steroids that.....shut the fuck up already. let the man rip. he did not die because of OD or "roid rage"

lol pro wrestlers have written many times in there books about how others abuse steroids, pain pills, alcohol, and other drugs. Nobody is showing him disrespect at all, but it's been on the news so many different times before about how so many wrestlers lose there lives because of the said reasons above. It happened so much, that WWE started enforcing there wellness policy very strictly around 2006 or so, iirc.
