Eject Button glitch?

Looked at the wiki page, but didn't see anything listed about the interesting (and probably unintentional) second effect of Eject Button.

Any move that causes the holder to be switched out after hitting the target (Volt Switch/U-Turn) loses its effect when used on a Pokemon holding the Eject Button.

For example (and this is how I found out):

Galvantula @ Eject Button vs Mienshao
Mienshao uses U-Turn. Galvantula switches out for Togekiss, turn ends. No switchout for Mienshao.

it's probably because there has already been a switchout in the turn, the game assumes it was the u-turn. i don't know. it's quite interesting.
