Elite 4

If you could make your own elite 4 w/ champion, and could choose from any gym leader/ frontier brain/elite 4 and champion what would it be?

I probably would make Volkner a champion.. but I don't know if I'd want to just replace Cynthia.. personally I'd want to make that rival system I spoke of a few years back to where there are random events that can happen, including changing of the seats of the champion. Though, thinking about it, your rival deserves to be champion again for once, being more like a Gary type character than a Brock type. (Seeming more like a traveling companion or someone who is always inferior to you)

2nd: Brock(He needs to be developed as a rock specialist. Its always bothered me how they ignored it in the anime.)
3rd: Blaine(Same reason as Lt Surge)
4th: Lance(Lots of great memories of fighting him, especially the night before I got silver.)
Champion: Red/Gold(Am I the only one who thinks its odd that despite becoming champion at the end of the game Red and Gold have never been mentioned as champions?)

I know those are all from the gen 1/2 games but ehh I almost always seem to go with gen 1 stuff with a little gen 2 stuff thrown in. What can I say I'm old school lol.

One of my visions include a few anime trainers forming the elite four(s) at the end. I usualy promote myself to being buddies with Jimmy, Jackson, and Marina, in my pokemon personification. I've emagined them and Silver becoming an Elite Four before. With me at the head, of course.

I might be a bit Kanto-centric, but I always thought the 'Good' Gym Leaders of the Pokemon Special manga should have made Elite Four status.

Wasn't Red mentioned as a champion is G/S?

Red was indeed 'the Champion', but wasn't the one trainers would fight after taking on the Elite Four. If anything, I suppose Red gave up the title, leaving Lance to take that position while Bruno was joined by 3 new Elite Four members. I guess it would make some sense that Red would then be the 'Champion', but more in the well known sense, rather than officially.

I think Blue referred to him as once being the champ, or he just called him the greatest trainer of them all. Either way, he'd still make an awesome champ.

He was also a pain to defeat. I used a low leveled Misdrevious which knew Perish Song to take out his Snorlax which couldn't attack due to my ghost type advantage.
