Uh, yeah. Talk about EBA or Ouendan here. For those of you not in the know, the two Ouendan games, by iNiS for the Nintendo DS(their full names are...*deep breath* Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2), both star cheering squads, AKA Ouendan. However, the second game introduces a rival squad, the Asahi Ouendan, who dress in blue(the original guys, in black and red, are the Yuuhi Ouendan). EBA is basically the Americanized version of Ouendan, with MIBs instead of Ouendan, however, no rival EBA has shown up as of yet, nor has a sequel been announced. All three games don't really have a plot, aside from cheering on your target to success(with interpretive dance for the EBA, and traditional Japanese cheering for the Ouendans), excluding the final levels, which I'll let you find out for yourself(that means no spoiling what the levels are about, spoiling songs is fine). As for gameplay, it's fairly simple. There are three kinds of markers(and yes, this a rhythm game):
Hit Markers: Tap these when the Approach Circle reaches the white border, in the order they're numbered. Sometimes they appear over each other, so you might need to double-tap, or sometimes even triple-tap.
Slide Marker: Tap and slide the ball along the track to the end. Sometimes you'll see an arrow at the end of the track. In that case, the ball will reverse direction when that happens, so just reverse directions with it.
Spin Marker: Just spin as fast as you can. It doesn't matter which direction you spin. If you clear the Spin Marker before the ring reaches the center, you can keep spinning for bonus points.

There are also four difficulties. The last two have to be unlocked. The EBA names will be in parentheses:
Light-Hearted Cheer(Breezin'): You oughta start on this difficulty if you're new to the series. Pretty easy, with a helpful pointing hand icon to help you determine when to tap the markers for the first three levels, plus the Spin Markers aren't too hard to clear. You'll control Hajime Tanaka for the Yuuhi Ouendan, Shinta Kikuchi for the Asahi Ouendan, and Agent Spin for the EBA.
Bold Cheer(Cruisin'): Once you're confident in your abilities, you can try this mode(or even start on it, if you're feeling really confident.) Nothing too complicated, although things are a little harder. You'll control Ryuta Ippongi for the Yuuhi Ouendan, Hayato Saionji for the Asahi Ouendan, and Agent J for the EBA. These are the guys that're the most well-known.
Furious Cheer(Sweatin'): This is where things get hard. You'll often find yourself tapping markers in quick succession, often to the lyrics instead of the beat. You'll control Kai Domeki for the Yuuhi Ouendan, Kaoru Kiryuin for the Asahi Ouendan, and Agent Chieftain for the EBA. Interesting to note that both of the Ouendan guys are the leaders of said Ouendan.
Graceful Cheer(Hard Rock!): This is as hard as it gets. This is basically Furious Cheer/Sweatin' flipped 180 degrees, plus the Approach Circles close in faster, and the markers themselves are slightly smaller. In the Ouendan games, some extra markers are added, or some Hit Markers replace Slide Markers. You'll control the Cheer Girls(Sayaka Amemiya, Aoi Kanda, and Anna Lindhurst) for the Yuuhi Ouendan, the Cheer Maidens(Rin Shirosaki, Honoka Kawai, and Reika Minazuki) for the Asahi Ouendan, and the Elite Beat Divas(Starr, Missy, and Foxx) for the EBA.

Well, that's about all I can say. So start talking about the games!

Ouendan 2 is my third favorite game for the DS. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are for noobs,DDR for casual and Ouendan for real men.
