CC did it, so I am too.

Let me tell you a story. Nearly 2 years ago, I signed up for Elixant hosting. The only problems I ever had with them is the time when they got screwed over by someone else. (That's a long story, and it wasn't just Elixant. There was a middlemen in hte server purchasing who decided not to pay the bills, and 100s of servers got shut down) Other than that, they have yet to let me down. They have 3 extraordinary servers, and they live up to their 99.9% uptime.

They have the protection installed so that your site doesn't get hacked (Including scripts that will auto-upgrade phpBB for insance), and they also include a few other ones, such as the one that banned me for trying to log-in so many times. :) Security and uptime are possibly the best I've ever seen.

Then, there is support. With support team all over the globe, it's very rare to see the forums without at least one red name online. (Red = Staff) Everyone that goes there brags on and on about the support, it's the best possible. And when the forum just isn't fast enough for you, there is AIM accounts and other IMs that you can send notes to.

The prices are low (although not as low as some of the others, you have to think about quality here) and upgrades are easy as pie.

With a brand new web-site layout, you really should go and check out http://www.elixant.com, and if you aren't already, become one of their hostees. And if you want an extra deal, PM me and I'll give you my affiliate code, which gets you 25% off any package, combined with other deals!

I can attest to what JK says =D All problems were handled immediately at the forums, and 100% uptime so far ^^

PaulHQ is hosted there [ http://paulhq.com ] and I'm switching PJN over once Shyper's term has expired ^^

JK- Can I use two 25% off codes? =3 And does that work on reseller?

Nope, you can only use one ^^

And yeah, it works with resellers

Elixant seems to be a nice host according to me. Their current layout sucks though. I seriously preferred the old one. And from what Greg said ^, Elixant seems to be a bit over-paranoid. All webhosts have those security to protect their servers.

No, they're just protecting their large database of users.

Elixant is t3h awesomeness. Their tech support is <33333 even though they don't directly host me XD

I wish we could CHMOD to 777 though -.-;

Anyways...I want that cheap reseller pack XD

755 works just the same. o_O The only script I've ever had really bad trouble with is an Oekaki, and that was a simple edit of the install file to change 777 to 755~

I need to get pCanvas up =D Can someone point me to the best Oekaki and its URL? >>;

You need 777 to deal with upload directories and that sort of thing. Or if the servermaster has been clever enough, just 775.

Best oekaki is OekakiPoteto, www.suteki.nu :)

I had trouble with OP too, I had to do the same edit except Greg wasn't around to tell me what to do >_>

I have an upload script, and it works just fine with 755
