Email Notifications Problems

I have threads that I subscribed to through e-mail notifications, but I'm not receiving the e-mails until an hour or more after someone posted something. I have never had this problem, and is a real hindrance to me, so is there anyway to fix it.

Edit: There's an 8-10 hour delay on Subscription and PM email notification. Can it be fixed?

I'm also getting PM message e-mails hours after I should have. I woke up at 11 went to bed at 4, and was PMing before ten. When I woke up at 11 they were all there. I would really like to know why the large delay, it's problematic for me.
