Empty Region Space

Many of you may be familiar with how the first four regions are placed (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn & Sinnoh) so if you see a giant world map of these (try googling "Pokemon World Map), you'll notice there's a lot of space between them.

I always liked that all these regions are so close together and partially connected (Kanto and Johto are) so what my question is, would you like more regions to be made between the existing ones or do you like the one off regions not near each like like Kalos and Unova?

I think it'd be interesting to fill in the blanks, but in the end, they're mostly just undeveloped countryside. Think of the non-Pacific Northwest.

Do we even have an official Pokemon World Map? I've never heard of such a thing.

All we are really missing are the Chugoku region, Tohoku region and part of the Shikoku region. This would finish off Japan as a Poke continent, honestly I really want to see Chugoku given its unique history...

I'd rather that they develop the overseas region. If they're going to make another culturally inaccurate/messy region like both versions of Hoenn, and if it is going to be completely disconnected from the rest, in then I'd rather not see the rest of Poke-Japan. (For example: being able to revisit Cianwood City in some capacity as a region border city is a must for Poke-Shikoku.)

EDIT: Stupid me, I just googled them so I now know what and where they are. I would definitely love to see this Japan continent finished before they move on and keep doing regions based on other cities around the world

Overseas regions are nice, but I have always wondered about regions that would fill in the gaps between existing regions. It would be nice to have a throwback to Kanto and Johto being neighbors. You can have a Spanish-based region bordering Kalos. I'd also like to see them go back to developing places based on regions in Japan. There are plenty of possibilites.

I also think it would be great if they created a region from scratch that could go right next to Hoenn or Sinnoh.

Think I'd be more interested in continuing to explore the continents. Africa next?
