he says it makes the odds for shinies 1 in 200 but this never works for me and i've seen 2 videos now saying truc works

LOL.

I just think he doesn't understand the Emerald RNG. It just so happens that his shiny frame is a Jolly spread and he must have hit it for all 3 of his Regis. Some people are lucky to have a shiny spread so soon, while others would have unreachable ones.

Generally they don't.

The Emerald RNG is different than the DPPt RNG. In Emerald, the game runs through the same spreads every time you turn it on. So if you were to wait the exact same amount of time to approach each Regi, they would all have the exact same IVs / Nature.

This kid was repeatedly hitting a certain frame, and due to his SID matching up to make that frame shiny, all of his legends were coming out shiny.
