(Brock’s POV)

Well, all right. Everyone and their pet Pokemon knew that Ash and Misty were destined to be together. Hello, can the clueless hero and the sweet-yet-stubborn girl ever fall for anyone else? It’s a match made in heaven, and practically a cliché. Sure, she can be pretty mean sometimes, and he can be oblivious and rude himself, but if they get along with each other, it’s all good.

It’s just weird, seeing them all grown up and dating, and me? I still don’t have a girlfriend. I’m not sure I even have any female friends I feel comfortable dating. May and Dawn are more like little sisters, and I haven’t seen Susie in a long time. Oh sure, I can still hit on Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, but it never gets anywhere.

Why? Where did I go so wrong? I’ve always been older and more mature than any of my traveling companions, but am I not manly enough? Do I not look date-able? Are all the girls I want already taken?

Of course, I would never steal Misty away from Ash, but it still bugs me. I just want a girl for myself. Someone, just for me…

Not sure how I feel about this one. I'm very bad at Pokeshipping, but I hope Brock wasn't too OOC.

Interesting.... Portraying Brock as actually reflecting back upon some things and having his maturity grow, by the looks of things, is something that I came to appreciate. Reading this, it made me feel for him, which is something I couldn't really do before, considering all the times he just goes 'gaga' over a pretty girl that he's encountered.

Don't worry too much about Brock being 'OOC'... to me, this seems like one of the things that he would look back upon and think up on. I'm taking into consideration that they're all older now and looking at it through a more seasoned and matured point of view.

The last part there, "Hey, what's you name?" kind of made me chuckle to myself. It was a relatively good addition, as far as I'm concerned.

Believe me, I can't get any of them right, and not just Brock. Maybe I need to watch Pokémon again. But BROCK IS ALWAYS EPIC!
