Epicodes for movies

Okay, we've been using episode codes for the anime since the beginning of Bulbapedia. Everyone knows that when you want to link to the very first episode, it's EP001.

My question is, should we have epicodes for the movies as well? Mewtwo Strikes Back being PP1998 or PP01, the PP standing for Pikachu Project? In that way, we wouldn't have to move them when we get the English title of a movie, much like we don't for the English title of an episode.

My argument for this is that every standard episodic thing on Bulbapedia has an epicode, from the normal anime (EP-AG-DP), the hoso specials (H), and even the Pokémon Special rounds (PS). Shouldn't the movies, standard over eleven years, have epicodes as well?

Could be M01, but it seems too... well, too simple for the modern ones. I mean, we use EP for the original series... but those episodes are nearing ten years in age... some even surpass that.

It may seem simple, but isn't simple generally best? I mean with the episodes, once you get to a certain point you need to reset them because there's so many of them (one reason I'm glad there's EP, AG, and DP). But with the movies, they only come out once a year and there's only 11 put out so far in total. M seems simplest (it took me a few seconds to realize what PP meant before I realize that you conveniently said so right after ^^;).

Okay, I suppose that'd be alright. Though I also realize... none of the Winter Vacation shorts have epicodes either. Ought they, with WV?
