episode preview music

Has anyone else noticed that there always seems to be some kind of connection between the episode preview and the music that is playing? For example, during previews for important or serious episodes, serious music would play. Also, during previews for pokemon contest episodes, the first version of Dawn's ending will be heard.

yeah almost no one realized but in the episode where may comes to sinnoh(A Full Course Tag Battle) at the end with may and dawn fighting team rocket together, EXACTLY the part where may sends out Glaceon, they play her japanese ending theme, Watashi Makeni(I Won't Lose!) Its the background music that starts with the electronic beeps. You'll know it when you hear it. Towards the very end of the episode, about the middle end that always involves team rocket or before badge/ribbon reciving. you get the part of the episode im talking about. Probably.

Most people who watch the English dubs never figured it out, which makes me smart

LOL! XD Of course no-one noticed the not-particularly-inconspicuous Watashi Makenai.

And you've totally missed the point of this thread. It's not about insert songs/BGMs but about the preview music.

well its harder for me because im an american and we have no previews of episodes. only 4 movies. and no music plays in the movie previews either.

IF you actually bothered to search the internet you could find episode previews. And yeah like this weeks episode the music is all catchy and happy so I doubt it will be something that important.

Either episodes focused on Ash and/or miscallenous filler episodes who does not prominently center on any main character(s) tend to have the normal episode preview music.
Episode(s) focused on Dawn and/or otherwise focused on pokemon contests tend to have an instrumental of By Your Side- Hikari's Theme.
Episode(s) focused on Brock and/or "wacky" filler characters tend to use the Artist theme from DP. This can also apply to certain TR episodes, such as the Cacnea departure episode.
Episode(s) focused on TR, either as a whole or individual members, tend to have the Sinnoh Team Rocket theme.
Very rarely, episode(s) will also use the same preview music as the opening, especially High Touch; this applies mostly to 1-hour to 2-hour specials.
