Episodes and not...

Okay, so looking through a list of the episodes on Pokéani, I saw that they in fact list what we have as AG171 as both AG171 AND AG172. This means of course that AG on their list ends with AG192.

Just the same, I still don't understand why Holiday Hi-Jynx and Snow Way Out aren't episodes with epicodes, and if we moved them to their canonical epicodes, we'd have to displace everything from EP039-EP274... and even then, do those two fit at EP039/EP040, making Pikachu's Goodbye EP041? They were technically on the schedule as the next things to air, then didn't when Pikachu's Goodbye did. After that of course the schedule returned to normal, with the intended EP041, The Battling Eevee Bros., becoming EP040...

And no, AG101's not changing in my eyes. Vanity Affair is it, since they cancelled the unaired one before it came out anywhere, and then never put it on.

Also, the movie articles: better as their own epicodes, Pikachu Project (year), rather than English title? It'd fit with everything else we've got!

I have thought about this before, about if we should change the specials. I don't think we should put them in the EP codes, because of the displacement problems that would be caused. I think we should make our own special code, like SP, and include the other anime specials, Such as legend of thnder, Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon, and the Pikachu shorts. That's what I think it should be; we just need to make sure everything is included and everything would be in the correct chronological order before so that we only have to move pages once.

But the thing is... HHJ and SWO weren't specials... They were to be aired at a special time specific to their production, but they weren't specials. If anything, Pikachu's Goodbye was the special.

And what about the AG171 problem? Should we move all AG episodes after it to their epicode + 1, then split it into AG171 and AG172, as we did with the Ranger 2 special?

In the official dub order, it goes like this:

It's Mr. Mimie Time
Holiday Hi-Jynx
Snow Way Out
Showdown at the Poké Corral

...But that can't be right.


It looks like the AG moving is already underway, so I say go with it quickly before someone messes things up.

Well, as long as it's moving 191, then 190, and so on back...

And that's pretty much the official Japanese order, too. The episodes that were supposed to air in winter after Porygon's problem ended up aired there because otherwise, in December, they'd be airing during the league episodes, which would screw everyone up even more and confuse them. Canonically, both go right after EP038, and are followed by EP040, while EP039 never actually was planned, except in response to the incident.
