Episodes from Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl (Season 10) now available on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel with 16 different language dubs

After completing the ninth season, episodes from the tenth season of Pokémon the Series, Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl , are now available on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel, with five new episodes being added per week. These uploads have audio tracks in a total of 16 languages: English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French (France), German (Germany), Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), and Swedish; with closed captions only available in English and Latin American Spanish.

As the Pokémon TV service is operated by The Pokémon Company International, it is region-locked so that videos on the channel are not available in Asian countries where The Pokémon Company retains distribution rights. In particular, it is not available in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, mainland China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The service is available in the territories colored green on the attached map.

The original Pokémon TV service was launched in 2010 and provided select episodes of the Pokémon animated series to viewers. It was available as a website or as an app for various OSes. The service was discontinued in January 2024. On December 2nd, 2024, the Pokémon Company International launched the Pokémon TV YouTube channel, and episodes from the first season of the animated series premiered on the channel on December 6th. The channel releases full episodes, live streams, compilations, and more.

This is likely due to BBC's exclusive rights for the Diamond and Pearl series:

BBC iPlayer viewers can delight in the adventures of Ash and Pikachu with all episodes of Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, at 189 episodes, and Pokémon the Series: Black & White, with 142 episodes. Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl will be exclusively available to UK audiences on BBC iPlayer from 2 August, while Pokémon the Series: Black & White will follow this autumn on a non-exclusive basis.
