And now a little note from me! This RP is based off of X-Men, but Magneto and Professor X, along with any other relation to the series are out of the picture entirely. If you are a student, your alias, dorm house, weapon, and supersuit will be determined when the RP starts. I'm going to shoot for at least six students and at least two teachers, but that might not happen. I'll start with at least four students and one teacher if I must.
Plot:
Humans know of mutants. Some respect and even worship them, while others are afraid, and with this fear comes anger. President of the United States, a Mr. Samuel North, is terrified of these mutants. President North issued a new act out of fear, saying all mutants must not act out in public, and will be executed if they do so. If you have knowledge of a mutant and you do not turn the mutant in, you too will charged for the crime and will also be executed.
These new acts rip apart our society as we know it. Mothers turn in their own children in fear of being murdered. Schools take entrance examinations to see if a child is mutant or not, with an elite execution squad on site. Even if students pass the entrance exam, schools are heavily guarded against mutants. If any mutant discovered, no matter of what they can do or who will avenge them, is murdered.

You may have one major superpower (Flight, Telekinesis, Elemental Control over Fire, etc.) and one minor superpower (Heals quickly, doesn't age, capable of holding breath indefinitely, etc.) You can choose to have only one major superpower, one of each, or two minor superpowers. You may NOT choose two major superpowers.

The academy is on the western seaboard of the United States. It is located on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. It is hidden from the public because of the dense forest behind it. The main building is spherical in shape, with each floor being a different subject and class. The tallest level is both the observatory and the principals office. On the lowest level the school is the armory, which is filled with weapons that enhance superpowers. If anyone is caught sneaking into the bottom floor, serious consequenses will follow.
The school is split into four dorms based upon your personality and superpowers, the dorms being Strength (Courage), Willpower (Wisdom), Energy (Kindness), and Survival (Ambition). Personality: Marble is very serene, yet he always seems to be ready to pounce in a moments notice. Marble keeps to himself, and rarely talks to students unless it's of dire importance. Marble is very respected by his colleagues and friends. Marble often meditates on the beach to further his power's strength. Marble likes the humans, and believes that they will accept mutants eventually.
Appearance: Marble has short black hair that he keeps nicely trimmed. He shaves every day and has no facial hair. He's about 5'11", and weighs about 165 pounds. Marble usually wears glasses, but occasionally forgets them. He wears his supersuit, which is a similar to kick-ass's, except the colors are dark red and yellow.
History: Marble was born with his powers. His parents were a little afraid, but soon grew to love him. Marble grew up as a normal kid, not taking advantage of his powers. To save his friend from being crushed by a boulder, Marble telekinetically moved the friend out of the way. Instead of thanking Marble, the friend told the police. Marble was forced to go into hiding and hasn't been seen by humans since. Marble then established Equis Academy to help other children control their powers. Marble and Slade became enemies when Slade led an attack on Equis Academy and killed all faculty members except for Marble himself. Many students were killed as well because all dorms weren't hidden, which made Marble feel like it was his fault. Now, Marble is recruiting new teachers and students.

This can be used so that the ground around him is like a trampoline, or that gravity is reversed within the sphere. He can use this selectively, being able to turn the ground around him into something similar to quicksand, but not the ground he's standing on. When he wants to get rid of something entirely, he molecularly dissects them into nothing. He occasionally has, what he calls, "Sonic Flares", which is when his sphere explodes and he has a 100 foot radius. The way he does this is that he changes the molecular and atomic structure inside the sphere.
Minor Superpower: Can filter lights through his eyes, meaning he can see the night time as if it was day time. He can't see only dark, and subconsciously makes this power kick in.
Weaknesses: Outside of the four foot radius, his power is useless. He can't move his sphere of power and it only stays at the ground where his feet should be touching, meaning that he can only reverse gravity so it's four feet off the ground. This also means if he is more than four feet above the ground, his powers have no effect. When he is using his powers, a see-through orange bubble appears around the sphere that indicates to everyone he's using his powers. Brett can't control when to filter light, and he subconsciously does this. He also has diabetes, though this is unrelated to his mutant abilities.
Personality: Brett is a very quirky person. He only occasionally cracks jokes, and when he does, they aren't that funny. He doesn't talk too often, but he will talk if talked to. He has an aspect to his personality that he doesn't like, which is that he sometimes thinks he's better than others. He only thinks this if he outsmarts them or if they aren't able to do something he can. Brett only feels this way when talking about this certain thing, and will treat this person the same as every other person in every other subject. Brett can be mean to people, but doesn't mean to be, and usually will apologize. Sometimes, if he becomes very angry, he becomes very self-centered and refuses to be reasoned with. Brett doesn't usually use his powers unless he has to, except for when he sleeps, when he makes his bed exactly the way he prefers it.

He was in a fight at school about a girl when another guy threw a punch at him. Brett reacted by molecular dissecting the boy's hand. Because this was before the new Mutant Acts, no one quite understood what happened. Later that year, President North passed the new acts and found Brett's file. Brett's father turned him into the president before the president could charge the Senator of being an accomplice. Brett was then taken to a mutant execution facility, but he couldn't be executed because he would destroy the murdering tools before they were used. For several years the execution facility never found a way to kill Brett, until they tried the experiment to see how far the sphere lasted. As everyone had come to expect, the sphere was surrounding him for four feet, but they then lifted him up out of the sphere. As they were aiming their guns, Brett had his first "Sonic Flare", which ended up disintegrating everything in the radius. Before he could be caught, Brett quickly fled the building. Moments after his Sonic Flare and after he left, he received the letter from the academy.

Major Superpower: Control and production of black holes. This includes ability to manipulate the strength of them and how long they last. She can make black holes to absorb an object and that object alone. Also, if Becca is in a very peaceful and blissful state, she can absorb an item into a black hole and back and the item remains unharmed. Once inside the blackhole, she is basically in a coma state and she can only be woken up when a life is taken.
Minor Superpower: None.
Weaknesses: Becca sometimes loses control of her powers and creates an uncontrollable black hole, though this usually can't absorb anything outside a thirty foot radius. This usually happens when she is knocked out by a punch of sorts. When Becca goes into her black hole, a life must be taken to call her back. This can be anything though, whether it be a fly or a person. Becca's hands glow a dark blue/violet when ever she summons a black hole, which alerts her enemies.
Personality: Becca is a big flirt with boys, though she secretly likes girls as well, though she doesn't flirt with them. Though her powers would suggest she is very dark or goth, she is the exact opposite, and chooses to wear bright colors and a smile. Becca is generally not cautious about her friends and friend choice, which sometimes puts Becca in a lot of trouble. She dances a lot, and has a strong connection with music and dancing.
Appearance: Becca is fairly average height for her age, measuring in at 5 foot 4 inches. Because of her dancer's build, she is skinny and weighs only 95 pounds. Becca's shirt that she wears most often is a grey and pink sweater that hangs over one shoulder, and black jeans that cut off at her bottom calf. Becca always has subtle white earbuds in her ear. Becca wears blue and black plaid boots that cut off a little above where her jeans end. Becca has bright blue eyes, but they are subtle, not piercing. Her hair goes slightly past her shoulders and is dark brown and straight.
History: Becca began her life in an adoption agency. Whether her parents gave Becca up because of her powers or something else is unkown. Because she was a cute child, she was adopted quickly by two astro-scientists (or whatever they're called). Becca lived a fairly normal life until she was eight, when she had her first known power outburst. Her parents were absorbed into a black hole and never heard from again. Becca was terrified and quickly ran away from the scene. Becca joined a dance academy, which is where she became an excellent dancer. Becca stayed at the dance academy until she turned fourteen, practicing her powers in secret throughout the whole time. One day, a new girl moved to the dance academy. The new girl threatened Becca and they verbally fought frequently. On another day, the new girl and Becca were both extremely mad at eachother. The new girl punched and kicked Becca, and Becca absorbed the new girl into a black hole. To protect herself, Becca ran away from the dance academy. When she was on the run, a piece of mail appeared in front of her, which was the invitation to Equis Academy, to which Becca accepted.

Becca stayed at the dance academy until she turned fourteen, practicing her powers in secret throughout the whole time. One day, a new girl moved to the dance academy. The new girl threatened Becca and they verbally fought frequently. On another day, the new girl and Becca were both extremely mad at eachother. The new girl punched and kicked Becca, and Becca absorbed the new girl into a black hole. To protect herself, Becca ran away from the dance academy. When she was on the run, a piece of mail appeared in front of her, which was the invitation to Equis Academy, to which Becca accepted.

Major Superpower: Achilles has superstrength, but only on manmade items. An example is that Achilles wouldn't be able to lift up a tree, but he would be able to throw a truck like it was a stuffed animal. Also, Achilles can only use his superstrength on items made less than a year ago. Because of this, Achilles is very high-tech and always has the newest and most advanced weapons. His superstrength on an item fails the moment it turns one year old.
Minor Superpower: Impenetrable skin. His skin is like an armor and is protected from most injuries. He is protected from knife and blade wounds, but he won't be able to stop a bullet, though it won't hurt him too badly. Similar to the real Achilles in ancient Greece, William Harbor's sensitive spot is his Achilles Tendon. If he is even punched in the tendon, he will most likely die from it unless he gets help.
Weaknesses: Achilles' superstrength only works on man-made items, and the man-made items must be a younger than one year. Achilles also has a weakspot on his Achilles Tendon, and can be killed if he is attacked on the sensitive spot.
Personality: Achilles is playfully mean often. He will make fun of students, but not to the point where they hate him because of it. He dislikes students that act out in class because they're "funny", and will give the student a harder time than the others. He is talkative outside of class, and the opposite in class, only speaking to the class when he has to, though he tosses in jokes during that time.Achilles is ready to help everyone who asks for it, but he is too oblivious to realize it unless they tell it to him. He hasn't had much interaction with humans besides his family, so he doesn't think humans are dangerous.
Appearance: Achilles has blond hair that he keeps short and styled in a faux hawk. Despite his powers, Achilles actually is fairly slender, and only weighs 160 pounds though he is 6 foot 1. He wears a light grey dress shirt with charcoal pants when in his teacher uniform. He has dark brown eyes, and a very thin, blond 5 o'clock shadow.
History: Achilles was raised in an accepting family, who decided to hide Achilles' powers from the public. Though his parents protected him, they would put his powers to use for their benefit. The family business was a big factory, so heavy pressing machinery items were replaced by Achilles himself. Because the factory was producing items at such a high rate and having no repairs on the machinery, the government looked into the factory. They discovered Achilles, but were too afraid that Achilles would retaliate against the government if they took action, so the government just shut down the factory. Without the money, Achilles' family couldn't afford vaccinations from diseases, so they all died from a serious disease. Achilles was not killed, as the disease was transferred through open wounds and his impenetrable skin protected him. Achilles opened another factory when he became old enough, but the government also shut this down. Now that President North was more strict on mutant laws, the government tried to kidnap and kill Achilles. They came dangerously close too, but Achilles escaped just in the nick of time. Luckily, the government soon lost track of Achilles. Deciding to use his powers and knowledge of powers for someone other than himself, Achilles joined the academy.

And now a little note from me! This RP is based off of X-Men, but Magneto and Professor X, along with any other relation to the series are out of the picture entirely. If you are a student, your alias, dorm house, weapon, and supersuit will be determined when the RP starts. I'm going to shoot for at least six students and at least two teachers, but that might not happen. I'll start with at least four students and one teacher if I must.
