Firstly, if you dont know what im talking about, you should really be watching this anime.

Anyway, has anyone been watching this anime? Honestly though, I think the story is great, the characters are brilliant, and it is just very well made in general. Im up to the latest episode and I dont really want it to end.

What are your thoughts on the anime? What episode are you on? Etc.

Should people post and they are posting spoilers, people may want to watch this without being spoiled, so please put them in [*SPOILER] tags, thankyou!

I'm also loving this series, I'm also on the latest episode, and it's definitely on top ten anime in my list.

I specially like the main character and how he deals with the problems, and how they keep on being added.

Right!

If there is one little flaw, its that the killer was Kinda obvious all along. But after this latest episode, I really want to see how the MC somehow recovers. I havent read the Manga so idk.

Y'know, that was never an issue for me. I don't mind if I guess the killer so long as the story makes good sense - I'd have more of an issue with a story that surprised me but made less sense as a result.

For me the one main problem I has was the soap-opera bit at the beginning of Episode 9. I see what they were going for, in making the mother violent and detestable but still human. I just felt that with the grandmother turning up as well, just to deliver the big "I'm sorry" ... pushed a bit too far.

But besides that the whole thing is pitched really well.

I've been hearing really good things about this. I'll be watching it soon when I get the time.

I'm kind of torn about that. It's really messed up that the parents abandoned her because she got a divorce, and I believe an apology was something to do. Then again abusing your kid is terrible. I don't know what to think, but she's only human. It's really easy to turn to violance when you have experienced it, specially when you have no one's support.

To me that suggests the idea was pitched about right. She victimised her own daughter, but she's a victim herself. I think that this kind of plot thread should make viewers have to think twice about how they view the character; and it's that kind of attention to detail that turns a merely dark story into a mature one. Personally I'm not about to forgive Akemi, but it's clear that at some point she wasn't like that.

Speaking of her,
When they're going through the little flashback scene, and the silhouette of Kayo gets flown backwards by a punch, it was real or anything, but that hit me hard.
