Well, I used to frequent a few forums when I was a kid, but it's been a while and I've kinda lost a lot of my old nerve. Please pardon me if I seem to babble nervously or make a fool of myself! :loopy:
I'm 21, I adored Pokemon when I was little, but mostly lost interest between gen 2 and gen 5. That is, until a boy I dated in high school found out my parents had never bought me a Pokemon game. (I grew up with Sony consoles and nothing handheld) He dove into action, insisting that he give me an old DS and buy me Pokemon Black. I went on to play a good chunk of Heart Gold and a bit of Pearl, but since I had never owned hand-held game systems before I was put off by the pixel-heavy graphics and didn't sink much time into any of the games after I finished the main storyline of Black.
The gen 6 graphics sent me into an excited frenzy. Since beating X I've learned to breed for IV's and Shinies, I've almost memorized all of my type matchups and the moves my Pokemon learn are getting to be more of a science and less of a grab bag. I'm excited to get to know a community as I work on progressing into ORAS!
