Silph Co. is the worlds premiere business in the fields of science and technology, even beating out close competitors such as Devon corp. Inside of the impressive 20 story stand alone research and development building, many projects and experiments work toward the betterment of both poke and mankind. Today however, the employees of Silph Co. will be facing a different sort of problem.

Silph scientist #1: "I do not get why we always try to develop a zombie vaccine around this time every year."
Silph scientist #2: (shakes head and shrugs) "I know right? Its not like there are zombies trying to bust in here and eat our brains or something!"
(both scientists laugh)

Suddenly the building lights switch to emergency mode and a panicked voice begins yelling through the intercom: "Red Alert! This is not a drill! (gunshots can be heard in the background) Strange undead creatures have surronded the building and are forcing their way into the lobby! (screaming can be heard) Everyone needs to evacuate, the zombies are trying to bust in here to eat our brains!" (more gunfire before the intercom goes to static)
The scientists stand in quiet terror before moments later, a voice only transmission makes a connection to the Silph Co. labs and someone who sounds smart begins speaking: "People of Silph Co, this is the president of Johto. Zombies are taking over Kanto and your technology and know how could be our last chance to stop them! I am sending someone to evacuate you, just try not to die before help arrives!"
A distant explosion causes the whole building to tremble! The communicator goes silent and the lights dim. Those things indicated that Silph Co's main power supply had been terminated. This is bad, very bad...

Even though this RP may involve violence, killing and such, it is more like something out of cartoon and should be pictured in a non serious kind of way. The roles function a bit differently than normal and are as follows:

1. Zombie (# limit: None)
You may be a single pokemon zombie or choose to play as up to 3 human zombies at once. All zombies can communicate with each other through groans. Non zombie characters would not be able to understand what you are saying even if they are close by.
The fastest zombie is capable of moving about as fast as an average human. (a zombie Jolteon for example) If your original zombie is killed (by taking too much damage to the head) then you may switch to a new one, which otherwise would have been a non player character. (there are hundreds of NPC zombies inside of Saffron city)
If a zombie kills enough people (eats enough brains) then they can slowly become slightly smarter. (this takes effect after every 10 kills or so and includes both npc's and human players) Zombies are not good thinkers otherwise.
Goal: The zombies want to kill or delay the hero character and/ or kill the survivors.

2. Silph Co. Survivor (# limit: None)
This group includes either scientists who were working on a zombie antidote, or other people who happened to be in the building. Survivors are not armed with Pokemon! Either because they are not a trainer or due to other reasons. Each person is allowed to choose an improvised weapon but be warned that in a 1 on 1 fight with a zombie, it is unlikely that you can win.
The most that a survivor character can really do, is to slow down or distract a small number of zombies. It is also possible to outsmart or temporarily outrun the ghouls.
Anyone in this class that dies, DOES NOT RESPAWN. Meaning that unlike the zombies, once you die, you are gone for good. (although technically you could still keep playing as a zombie) Player controlled survivors can only be zombified if they are mortally wounded and then bitten or scratched.

Goal: The survivors merely need to reach the extraction site outside of the city. Non scientist characters would want to grab something out of the research lab before leaving Silph Co. (anything such as important documents, computer disks or similar items will do. Alternatively, a scientist needs only to stay alive) At least one survivor must make it out of Saffron city in order for the humans to "win".

3. The Hero/ Heroine (aka badass dude or badass babe) (# limit: There can be only one. Role is first come, first served)
This class has the best fighting ability of all characters in the RP but is not invincible. May start the story with a full team of 6 pokemon and can also carry a normal weapon. Great against a few zombies but starts to struggle if there is a large mob attacking at the same time.
Drawbacks: Begins the story some distance away from the group. High priority target for the zombies, since if you are killed, it will be MUCH harder for the survivors to win.
Goal: Reach the survivors and escort anyone left alive to the extraction site.

To further assist in the rescue attempt, the hero character begins the story with a small jeep. (it can be damaged and it can be disabled)
Remember that a zombie can only be defeated in this RP by taking lots of damage to the head.

Rules:
Survivors start the RP on either floor 10 or floor 11 of Silph Co.
Zombies may start either on the 1st floor of Silph Co, anywhere within Saffron city or anyplace that you think the hero might need to pass through to reach the Silph Co building.
The Hero/ Heroine starts at Indigo Plateau.
A zombie player cannot switch zombies unless their current zombie dies or kills itself somehow. It is also not possible to switch if it is in a place where there are no npc zombies yet. (for example, a zombie player would not be able to appear on the roof of Silph Co.)
During battles no automatic hitting allowed! You may launch an attack but the other player still determines the outcome. (within the limits of not godmoding) (This rule does not apply to non player characters) If there are any disagreements, PM me and I will look into it.

Pokemon choices (where applicable) can be anything from Generation 1 - 5. No legends, no ghosts and no flying types.
No controlling other players characters without permission.

In addition to the many NPC zombies and humans that are around, there are also hostile and escaped mutants inside of Silph Co. These creatures are not usually super strong but they do hate everybody and will attack anyone and everyone on sight. (human or zombie)

First come, first served so ill take a stab.

Name: Evan Miles

Age: 26

Appearance:
Evan wears a variation of the Johto police uniform. It looks more similar to Unova's except he has ripped the short sleeves completely off and the blue button-up shirt is covered with a tactical vest, exposing his muscular arms. He wears fingerless black gloves along with a riot helmet of sorts which is flipped up to reveal his face. Instead of the professional uniform pants, he wears more combat-ready cargo pants along with heavy boots. He has a usual utility belt however, equipped with small things that may be of use to him. Along that belt is a small sheath for his katana. He has dark brown eyes along with short and neat dark brown hair. His facial hair is trimmed neatly to a thin goatee and a scar can be seen running down his left cheek.

History:
Evan was a detective of the International Police force before deciding to settle down in Johto to become a regular policeman. He was born in Cerulean City. From his early years, he took a few jump arounds in his career, failing to challenge the Pokemon League as a teenager and then even failing to become a gym leader after that. As a detective, he felt that he had found a calling, upholding justice and finding something that people looked up to him for. It was only a few years before he had failed to foil a Team Rocket crime in his home region of Kanto and in doing so, failed to protect the life of a Marowak in Lavender Town. Momentarily crushed, he resided to Johto but then resumed his duties as a regular police officer. Now under orders from the president of Johto, he jumps at the chance to head back to Kanto and hope he can protect his home region however he can.

Up to 6 pokemon:

Blastoise: Evans' original Pokemon he started his life with as a Squirtle. His most loyal and strongest ally.

Arcanine: Being a police officer, he had received their standard-issue Growlithe, only to bond with it so much, even through evolution.

Marowak: After his failure to foil Team Rocket, Evan had found a Cubone to help renew his desire to uphold justice. He has been in his party second-longest only to Blastoise.

Steelix: Venturing during his training, Evan had discovered a strong Onix while trying to reach the Pokemon League in Victory Road. He failed to use it and left it out of his party until he was taught of its evolution in Johto after becoming a police officer.

Machamp: Being assigned to this mission, Evan was traded a Machoke to be a asset for the type of forces he was going to face in Kanto. During the trade, it had evolved into a Machamp, hoping it can assist against the zombies with its four arms.

Dragonair: Evan's least trained Pokemon and the one who dislikes him the most. While it is hard to command, it is a powerful asset to Evan, capable of performing strong and diverse moves.

Weapon of choice: Japanese Katana

For my questions.
I assume your permitting us to control more then one character. If so, i just need it confirmed and i can bring some zombies along.

Also would you prefer me to also list the moves of my Pokemon?

On your first question, you are about half right. While a player can briefly control Non player characters (such as some zombies or some humans during a battle) it is not required for players to have multiple characters outside of their role.

I should note though that if you wanted to, you could actually release all of your pokemon at once and direct them seperately in this story. (so long as you can keep track of everyone) You will still want to be cautious however since there are both zombie humans and zombie pokemon and your team can be KO'd out of the RP independent of your main character.

All pokemon will be allowed to use any level up, TM or breeding moves, so listing their attacks is not a requirement this time around.

A regular type of katana would be a great choice. (a wooden one is good too)
A firearm would be allowed but only with limited ammo and probably would not be much help depending on how many zombie players sign up and how good they are at their role. The final decision is yours.

Since his weapon is acceptable as it is now, I hereby declare that Evan Miles is, Approved!
(you may still edit your weapon choice)

I'm gonna have a Zombie Pokemon please!

Name: Green Leafcutter
Appearance: A normal Leafeon except with rotten leaves, no eyes, and blood poring out of eye sockets, left ear, and tail connection.
Species: Zombie Leafeon
History and age: 11 years

This Leafeon was an orphan, and he was brought to Silph Co. for experimenting. They brutally injured him, and he was one of the first to get the zombie DNA. Not much else is known about this Leafeon.

Nice details on the appearance, it paints a picture that is well suited to the RP! One minor change is that most of the blood would need to be dried up blood, since we cant have a zombie flooding the place with gallons of strange colored liquid.

While there are lab experiments on the loose, technically the zombie invasion started from outside of Silph Co this time but even so, your history is still within the boundaries of the plot.

Green Leafcutter, Approved!

Grimlock, I just have a question.

My friend saw this and he is interested. But he can't make an account due to some weird glitches and bugs.

Is it okay if I post his character here until he manages to make an account?

For now I would say not yet. There is still plenty of time left before the RP may start. Having said that, if we get near to when the RP could begin then that would be perfectly fine.
