i tried to ev my metagross which i migrated from emerald and i never eved it till it evolved so anyway i wanted to ev it in attack so i ga ve it my power bracer to get alot of ev's and started to hit kricketunes and after 2 level ups it only got 30 stat boost 17 and 13 respectivly i was confused as i hear it can get a max of 50 or so. But tody i tried to ev it in defense so i got it from level 48 yo 49 hitting nothing but geodudes outside rustboro and i got no stat boost in def.

What happened?

My brain just exploded. You should probably try wording things a little better or working on your grammar. Either way, you've maxed out the Metagross's EVs before you've started your "EV training." Set them all back to 0 with appropriate berries and start again since I assume you haven't kept track.

And this could probably go in the simple questions thread maybe? I don't know...

EV training will give you a maximum of 63 extra stat points, by the time you reach level 100. With the same EVs (252) at level 50, you will get 31 (31.5 rounded down) stat boosts and at level 25 you'll have 15 (15.75 rounded down).

Also, a Pokemon starts EV training the moment it gets into it's first battle. This means that you either begin EV training your Beldum the moment you get it, or train it normally and use Stat reducing berries to get reset your Metagross's EVs and start from scratch (you'd need more or less eleven berries for each stat considering you probably haven't kept track of it's EV spread beforehand)

if its a metagross, then you gave it a random assortment of EVs when you were leveling it up.
there are berries you can use to reduce the EV's. Also, you Simple Questions for simple questions.
