EV training using boosting item plus xp share.

Hello, I've been EV training my newly bread beldum im going for a 252 hp 232 attack 12 defense 8 speed ev spread with an adamant nature. While training hp i put a power weight on my already EV trained dragonite and an xp share on my beldum which also has the pokerus. I logged 25 grimer kills which should equal 250 hp ev's(1 for the kill 4 with the item, poekrus doubles that equaling 10 per kill) now normally i use vitamins as a way to make sure my ev's are over 100 so i used an hp up on my beldum and it gained the 10 hp ev's.. I used 4 more meaning i only got 2 hp ev's for each grimer.. this leads me to believe that if you are using ev training items on a pokemon with maxed ev's the extra 4 will not be transferred because i only got 2 ev's for each grimer kill, has anyone had the same experience?

Uh, yeah. If they're not holding the Power Item they're not going to get the bonus.

Pretty much what he said. Also, assuming you are correct in this, do you have photographic evidence?

As mentioned, only the pokemon with the power item gets the bonus. If you want to do it in a similar way but still get the evs you can give the power weight on the beldum and put it in front and switch out to the dragonite at the beginning of the battle, otherwise you'll only get the pokerus bonus.
