I was wondering, does anyone know when a celebi that activates the ILEX forest event come out? can i use my 10th anni celebi? or do i have to wait til they release that event celebi? can anyone help please?

Sometimes I wonder why we even have a SQ/SA thread.

Anyways, chances are the Celebi will be released at some event or another related to the upcoming movie.

10 ANNIV Celebi can't be used, because they don't have a Fateful Encounter flag, and the Ilex Forest event can only be activated with an FE Celebi.

Japan got it with the movie, so yeah same thing is bound to happen here.

Japan hasn't gotten the Celebi yet either. And the movie hasn't even come out yet.

so there is no telling when its gonna come out eh?

Pretty much. Hell, we might not get it all. Remember, just because the event was programed into the game, it doesn't mean they'll actually do anything with it. The Hall of Origin Arceus is proof of that.

No there is. When the movie comes out.

Rellik, this seems like a rather MAJOR event to pass over.

And the unlocking of GOD as an in-game capture wasn't?

All I'm sayin' is, we don't know what these guys are thinking up. IIRC, the Pokemon for this next movie were already announced, and they're gonna be Shiny Legendary Beasts with unique moves, not a FE Celebi.

Might be a reason they never released that event and instead jsut gave him out. They chickened out after considering the implications.

This is an event that unlocks backstory, very cleverly crafted backstory. To pass it over would be to waste it.

They still released Arceus itself, they just never did anything with the already programmed in-game event. And trust me, there really isn't anything implied within that in-game event that isn't already brought to light a hundred times over through DPPt's storyline.

I'm not saying that they're definitely going to skip it. I agree that to go through all that trouble of programming it in only to not use it seems silly. All I'm trying to say is that they've completely ignored events in the past, so the chance always exists that they'll skip this one to.

I see you missed that I said it was handed out... sigh.

Anyways, yeah, the story alluded to a lot. But what is more likely to get past censors? Where God joins you, no fight whatsoever, is a gift, all peaceful and happy and eventful. Or where you clime to Heaven, attack God, bring him down to his very last ounce of strength and then force him into a ball the size of an orange?

I think it was smart to not have the actual battle. We still get the mon, but there are no unfortunate implications.
