Event Pichu on the GTS?

A couple of weeks ago, I searched for Pichu's on the GTS in Platinum, and one Pichu was shiny, and its nickname was Heart Gold. Was that the event Pichu I can't find anymore on there.
 
They're not going to be distributed until June.

It's most likely a reference to that event.
 
It wouldn't be able to be on the gts as it would have the classic ribbon. Otherwise if its still up there anyone wanna give it a go to see if it does unlock stuff?
 
It's obviously some fan who caught/bred/hacked a shiny Pichu just to call it Heart Gold.

So, once I got an event Shaymin with a classic ribbon on there.
 
I thought a a pokemon in a cherish ball stopped it being able to be traded on GTS not eh classic ribbon? Was this one in a cherish ball?

No, because I got the Japanese Movie Regigigas off the GTS and it was in a Cherish Ball.

Yea, just figured that out, but I thought it had a classic ribbon and cound not be traded on GTS? Movie event pokemon are supposed to have that ribbon so they can't be traded on GTS
 
Classic Ribbon removes the usage of GTS uploading. However, in Japan, hacking is not as big, and a fair amount of events do not have Classic Ribbons.
