You don't need to be its original trainer to get an idea of its IVs. Just go talk to this guy. That's often what people are referring to when they ask about IVs and why the IV spreads you see usually have only 31s and Xs.

I have a shiny Zebstrika from the Friend Safari that I might trade for that shiny Tauros, depending on its IVs.
