Event Regigigas

Has anyone else spotted nintendo's great error? In making the event regigigas unlock the regis, they gave trainers 2 regigigi(plural of regigigas?) Do you think they realised this?

no. In the way you say it Regigigas already is plural (and object instead of subject). But most bulbapedia dudes use plural as just the same name,
1 regigigas, 2 regigigas.

To get Regigigas you need the 3 regis.
To get the 3 regis you need Regigigas.... XD
It would have been really weird if it wasn't for that only that one event unlocked them (one more reason I hate events... they get all the fun and so far I only know of two recent gen IV-events around here, and one was a world-wide Wi-fi event! (Shaymin and Darkrai...cept I missed Shaymin))

I was playing and I was like "Wait, this is fucked up. Either I've gotta get an Event Regigigas to get another - Lv 100 and Lv 1 - or I bring over the Regis and catch the Snowpoint one in a Cherish Ball, trick the game, and get the Regis again!".

There'll be more than one legendary and this totally defeats the purpose of them! Shame on you, Nintendo. SHAMEONYOU.

Because of this, I haven't even bothered going to get the level 1 in Snowpoint yet. XD; Since it's the only legendary left in my game, I'm considering SRing it for a shiny one.

According to Bulbapedia, catching a Regigigas with a Cherish Ball tricks the game into thinking it's event; after all, only event Pokemon can be in them.
