Events in the UK

How many of u think that there should be more pokemon events here in the UK?
In America they have a lot of events happening but the only times we had any kind of event here were the mew and celebi ones but they were only once and were very hard to get to.
Now PUSA has control of this sort of thing i think it is time that we in the uk started getting more events such game tourneys and organixed play events.

There was the Eon Ticket event a couple of years ago and the Deoxys event last October. Not that I could get to the Deoxys one but that seems to be an issue in America as well...

dont remember the eon ticket event not that it would have been anywhere easy to get to

It was at Gamestation. If there is one in a nearby town it shouldn't have been too much of a problem.

Also, can the person not wanting us to have events please explain their reasoning.

There will be a Pokemon tour of the UK sometime this year, giving out the Europe's 10 Ten Pokemon. Nintendo are also doing another summer tour at the English music festivals but there's not likely to be anything unreleased there like last year's tour with XD and Twilight Princess.

Nintendo still do semi-regular tours for Pokemon etc here but generally they're restricted to England alone - so as far as i'm concerned, they all still suck.

cos i could really need some of those and also any idea what music festivals they are visiting
