So, have you ever split your head open due to whatever reason? I split my head open when I was 2, as I tripped up, and fell down the stairs, splitting my head open. I never trusted my blanky again.

No for me, but my dad is a doctor, so I've seen it before.

Yes, unfortunately. I ran into a outward wall corner, and required staples.

I ran into a wall as well. Thankfully I didn't break my head again, because then I would've had two scars on my head. And I think my head was just glued.

Unfortunately, yes. when i was 5,6, or 7, i can't really remember.
I was chasing my brother in the yard and I tripped and fell (I don't know the name of what I fell on, though i think it's similar to a well)

any way I obviously had stitches.

I did at camp a few months ago. I rain into a pole and split my forehead open. Now I have a scar there.

Kinda. I split the area right above my eye open when I was seven. Funnily enough, I didn't feel any pain and I didn't even realize I was hurt until I saw all the blood.

Yup I had a dog attack me when I was around 3-4 years old. Required quite a few stitches.

I leaned back on a chair. Head. Table. Split. Ouch.

Didn't need staples or glue or nothing, but the doctor said I would have if it hadn't healed so fast.

I got a huge split when I was really little. At the same time, I also split the side of my face open and damged my eye. Not only did I need to go to the ER and get a sitload of stitches, but I also permanantly damaged my peripheral vision.

Nope, and I haven't seen it happen either. Thank God I didn't, for I'm squeamish when it comes to blood and such...which is ironic, 'cause almost all of my writing contains heavy amounts of blood and gore.

Twice. Once when I was about 2, I ran into the fire place and bled everywhere. Once again when I was about 7 I rolled out of bed (i did that a lot when I was little) and hit the wall. A picture fell down from the wall and landed on my head, I had to get several stitches.

When I was little, I fell down the steps and hit my head on a heater.

I never had my head split open, but when I was 3, I pushed my little sister down the stairs for some reason. She landed on her neck....it wasn't really good. And I still remember her doing flips as she fell :/ we got rid of the carpet.

When I was like 3, I literally did cartwheels down the stairs, somehow, I did not get hurt very bad at all.

I think they called it a hole. I was playing hide and seek when I was like 6/7, and wanted to hide in the window (behind the curtain). Then the thing I lifted myself on to get into the window broke, and I hit the back of my head into a point of my bed-end. It hurt extremely much at first, but the pain went away pretty quickly actually. They then glued it back in the hospital. I can still feel the scar. It feels like a weird shaped bump.

I haven't, but my little brother did when he was four (he's eleven now). He was running to the door of his preschool and tripped, hitting the corner of the concrete step with his head. He got an ambulance and everything! Tore an inch gash in his head, right above the hairline, where no hair grows to this day. Thankfully his skull was still flexible enough that it didn't crack. You could see the skull through the cut, though.

The preschool people were worried we would press charges, but we didn't. But now those stairs are carpeted wood instead of concrete, with rounded-off edges.

sounds scary. good to know that he's all right and that those stairs have changed.

I did bump my head once when I was one or two, and got three stitches for it. I don't think it split open, though - it was just a really hard bump.

I never have (thankfully) but it did happen to my ex-, in Florida. He irked some other angry guys, and they took a razer scooter to his head. He bled out, fainted, had staples or stitches one, but was alright in the end. It was kinda freaky to witness it all, though.
