Did you ever requested Nintendo a lot of times to add TRT as Assist Trophy in SSB4? Nintendo must have a new Assist Trophy now! And a trophy, of course.

Trophy description: This is the infamous Team Rocket. These are Jessie, James and Meowth. They are great (seemingly) stealers, so don't make them steal your Pokémon! In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U, they build a random mecha. Each mecha have a specific effect, all of them wanting you to be KO'd. So stay away from them! Or you will be blasting off with Team Rocket.
 
Jessie James and Meowth are not actually in the games.
Okay, there's yellow, but it was a deluxe version simply inspired on the anime. It never happened again.
And I particularly wouldn't like to see exclusive nime characters related to the games.
 
If you propose them as playable characters, I don't quite see the chances as likely unless it's back in Smash 64. After all, Jigglypuff got chosen as a playable character due to the anime.

Though, if they are considered as a trophy (not Assist Trophy), I would have to say that it would be pretty neat mainly because they make for a cool reference. It would be an interesting choice if they are an Assist Trophy, I must say, since Assist Trophies don't represent Pokemon currently.
