Everyone's Favorite Anime Music Piece?

Just wanted to know what musical scores people really liked, be it from the anime or the movies. Whether its the anime renditions of in-game music or original scores, I want to hear it! As of now, The Day is Conquered is one of my favorites and I love all the scenes it plays out in.
 
I love most of the BGM of the original series, but there's one that especially stands out for me.

It's the Johto Victory Battle theme and stands out for me because of its epicness and for playing during the climax of Ash vs. Gary (Charizard vs. Blastoise)

I never watched the Johto series with the original Japanese audio, so I didn't have the chance to know this amazing piece of music, until they used the music again in the Diamond & Pearl series, in the episode which Ash's Monferno evolves into Infernape. Since that episode, this is one of my favorite tracks in the anime. This is an opening, though... so it is probably not what you (Hinokou) is asking for. Then, these tracks below (they are all from the original series) are likely my favorites:

This one is from the third Pikachu short movie, that one with the Pichu brothers. It plays when Houndour is chasing the trio of electric Pokémon.

The Pewter City theme in the anime. So good and nostalgic.

Pokémon Anime BGM - Gym Leader Battle (1997~1998-M58) - YouTube

Lastly, the anime remix of the Gym Leader Battle Theme from Pokémon RGB. The original track isn't my favorite GL battle theme, but this remix is so good.

 
It's a difficult choice, as there are so many great tracks.

Still, my favorite music composed for the series would be from Hoenn, the arrangement of Regirock-Regice-Registeel's theme. It's a crescendo that keeps you on the edge of the seat and sends chills down your spine, especially at the end.

My all-time favorite movie track is Aaron's theme at the beginning of Movie 8. The entire soundtrack is awesome, but this takes the cake. The majestic tone, melodic themes throughout, perfect capture of the movie's leitmotifs, lack of repetitiveness and fairly long length makes for a fantastic experience and hugely enhances any action scene or battle. Hands down my favorite Pokémon track from Shinji Miyazaki.

Among others, my fave is the Kanto Gym Theme, Team Aqua/Magma Battle and the soundtrack from Movie 5 (particularly the music that plays when Ash follows the girl and the chasing sequence) From the current series I like their take on Laverre City's theme and Eternal Prison.

This one is actually my ringtone. It's funny to see peoples reactions when my phone goes off, you can tell who is into Pokemon! LOL
 
Oh gosh, don't get me started. XD

For now, anyway, I'll list one- it's Japanese music, and one of the pieces not adapted from the games. It's technically called "1997～1998-M31B", but it's an alternate version of the BGM piece "Densetsu"/"Legend". Not sure if it's my most favorite piece- maybe it is, but it's at least really high up there.

The original "Legend" (1997～1998-M31) is unique/cool as well, IMO.
 
I only know the names of the pieces that originated from the first season. :( "Silly Psyduck" and "Team Rocket's 7th Change" both never fail to crack me up while "Burning Battle Field" is a great song overall.

Kanto M52: Title Card - There's something incredibly thrilling about the first title card cue. It really gets you pumped for the episode.

Johto M07: Hope On The Horizon (GS Route 26)

- That catchy, atmospheric flute piece that represents Mew in the Birth of Mewtwo radio drama. When Original Soundtrack Best was announced I was seriously torn between crossing my fingers and not bothering to hope, because I don't think it ever got used in the anime. At least not what I've seen of the show.

- The Legendary Catastrophe, Part 1: This is the really blood-pumping action music that plays in Movie 2 when the Legendary Birds, having been released from their cages, wreak havoc and cause Geraldan's ship to crash.

- Lugia Battles The Chaos Gods: Another really amazing action cue.

- The Final Stretch: This is when Kasumi pulls Satoshi out of the water and revives him, and he struggles up the steps and places the last treasure in its spot. There's a lot of heart in this one. It takes a sort of sad angle, enough so that it was later used in the TV series when Kasumi leaves the gang. Also, it begins pretty much the same way as the much-beloved "After The Tears, The Weather Clears".

See, this is why a CD set of unreleased movie music needs to come out!
