So IW's I'm Feeling Lucky (Go check out his shop; it's awesome) gave me an idea.

I'm going systematically through the pokedex, spicing a set sprite with a random one, decided by a random sprite generator. I have to accept the 1st Pokemon it comes up with.

Now, I can see you're confused (yeah, I'm that good) so let me put it in another way.

001: Bulbasaur + Random

002: Ivysaur + Random

Etc...

Anyway, I got the 1st two ready. i would've done the 3rd one but it's like 2 am here.

But in all seriousness, these are really cool sprites. I laughed for minutes at the Squirtle and Gravelar splice.

Personally, I prefer this site, as it really literally does splice everything with everything (well, up to Dugtrio at least, and using a pattern that ends up sometimes good, sometimes bad, and sometimes so bad it's good), but I suppose professionally made stuff that are the product of time and money are all right too.

And this totally wasn't a passing reference to that site for the awesome, either (also, try not to kill it either). I totally dig this. No, seriously. :) Warpowdon is especially cool. Keep it up.

i'm glad this is getting such good comments!

And when I saw that I had to splice Squirtle with Graveler, my whole life energy flowed out of me. I thought about it pretty damn hard, then I had an idea and I started working with it.

@System Error: While I do find the site pretty cool, i have to say that the 'fusions' there are very shoddily done, and go no further than 'this Pokemon with 492 other faces and usually it doesn't work well. Also, there's some pretty bad recolouring and it gives me the overall feel that everything was computer generated :/

More splices will come later today!

The Butterfree/Piplup fits really well, looks great!

Everytime I see one of these projects, I kick myself for not doing one sooner. :p

Actually, it is indeed computer generated. Humor and the occasional awesomeness is more the founding of the site, instead of sheer awesomeness. Some stuff turns up better than others. They can't all be winners, ya know? The main fun in it is trying random stuff and seeing if you can get something cool or funny.

I guess there's no room in Spriteville for stuff like this, but meh. :p Just thought I'd mention it, ya know?

These are all epic wins. I love the Squirtle line and the Pipfree. The Charizard one is the most well done I think.
