Evolving Chansey into Blissey

Hey guys! How do i evolve Chansey into Blissey in pokemon crystal. I heard that i have to make the chansey happy, but i dont know how to do that. Thanks for the help!
 
Just keep it with you on your team and continue to train it and it will eventually like you enough to evolve on levelling up. Giving it an item to hold also helps but letting it faint reduces its fondness for you.

There's a character in the games who will tell you how much a Pokémon likes you. I think the one in Crystal is in Goldenrod City.
