EVs gone wrong?

I've been EV training, with my Lucario and Typhlosion at the gastly mansion I'm using the macho brace, but I'm not receiving the stat boost I deserve. Lucario battled about 60 gastly with the macho brace. He only got + 3 in his sp ATT. Same thing with typhlosion I don't know what the problem is, can someone help me out? If it makes A difference, I had a monferno holding an exp. share, so that they would take longer to level up.

Well, if you saved, that may be your problem.
I was traning my umbreon by battling bidoofs, and he gained 11 in hp. But the next level i did, I had to save my game and it only gained 3. I could be wrong,but...

The reason you're not getting such a drastic stat change is because EV's take full effect by level 100. You will see a small stat raise first off, but by level 100, expect the same small stat raise, but a very high actual stat.

my highest LPN was 64 in atk and speed on my blaziken. so ya... but it may already be finished or infect it with pkrs for a diret impact

There's really no other way to say it simply than the way that he did, but I'll try. What he means is that your pokemon doesn't get all the EV's converted to extra stats at once, but they'll all be there when the pokemon is at level 100.

Your not suddenly going to get + 30 Satk in a stat (which is how much 60 Gashtly with MB should give upon level 100) right away. It spreads it out evenly. Every 4 EVs = 1 extra stat at level 100.

I'm thankful too, because I have always wondered about this getting all the stats at Lv.100. I know my Lv.70 Pokemon got about 40 in spec.atk (with Macho Brace) when fighting a lot of lv.14-16 pkmn. So it will get more spec. atk when at Lv. 100?. Will that not be a boost of 20 spec. atk, since it is about 60 points you can raise the stat by EV-training?

thanks.. i guess that makes sense. 1 more question. do you see the evenly spread out EV's or do they just like (example) get + 7 everytime to spread it out? thanks.
