Well, this was such a big problem it actually destroyed my computer.

Story:

I wanted to watch online anime so I Google and come up with Anime Island. Sounded like a start, but a pop-up tells me I don't have the software to play the episodes I want. So I download. I download Zango. And that proves to be a mistake.

-"Shopper Reports" pops up as a sidebar whenever I use a search engine. There was such a search overload, it could easily mistake the word "cryptozoology" for "pornography." That bad.

-Endless pop-ups. Stupid things like the duck shooting and dumb test that usually stays confined to banner ads.

-Randomly downloading software I don't want.

-Sizzling noises from vent.

-Draining of memory.

So basically, since I've long killed that laptop, what the hell is Zango????

A virus, obviously. Be careful what you download! I leraned the same way as you. Except, not with Zango. But you get what I mean.

...yeah, don't download things that random sites ask you to download.

It's actually adware, not a virus. And your computer's likely not destroyed, just infected (unless you can't turn it on). Several free utilities exist to remove adware, spyware, and even viruses.

How to remove it.

Zango has quite a dirty history.

Well obviously now I've learned my lesson. But it was partially destroyed by other stuff. The wires in its power cord frayed and I have no way to retrieve the password for the only administrative account. I guess that'll do it.

I downloaded Zango too, god that shopping bar at the side annoyed me so much but I changed browsers, then computers. Exactly what does it do to ton computeach?

I saw Zango the other site while watching online episodes of "Primeval." It's malicious adware that was required to be downloaded before I could watch movies "for free" online.

Yes, beware their logo. It will appear on the main toolbarand never ever go away. I tried to delete the entire program, then destroy it in the Recycle Bin, yet my computer froze. Alas, when I tried to delete Shopper Reports, it responded by saying there had been an error.

I forget what exactly, but someone told me it was a form of virus or spy wear or something.
