Exciting Times: Some changes to "Other Anime and Manga."

With the current phase of "Project Overgrow," our forums are getting a much needed facelift. We are moving forums around, changing, merging, and all that good stuff to reduce the clutter on the main forum page. This section also will be having a change. We are going to be merging with the "Land of the Rising Sun" forum to create one big happy Japanese family (happy family, isn't that a Chinese food dish?). This will hopefully be a good catalyst for anyone who enjoys Japanese culture to be able to learn a little more and also be able to ask questions about it. This might also be a good change to ask things like "why did so-and-so do this weird thing in the latest anime that I am watching? Is that a Japanese tradition, and if so, could someone explain it?"

Let's all do our best to make our merging and moving a very positive thing, and let's take full advantage of our new forum when the changes are implemented!

I prefer Dragon and Phoenix when I go to Chinese restaurants.

It's the next best thing to eating real dragon and phoenix. Even if it is just General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef.

I think it should instead be jumbled into an "Other Entertainment" type of forum instead of being isolated away like that.

What!? I always thought it was cool that we had a Japanese forum separate from the anime forum. Now we're going to be like every other forum out there.

I agree it's cool, but right now it's a dead forum. For the time being, we'll merge them back. That doesn't have to be a permanent move.

And believe me, with all the other changes that are coming up...no, I dare say we won't be ENTIRELY like every other forum out there.

(And before anyone but Satoshi asks - yes, I'm actually involved in the project)
