Has anyone ever had any experience with breaking a game console and sending it to Nintendo to get repairs? I might have to do that for my 2DS since the top screen is broken. I've never done it before myself, and I'm pretty sure if I tell my parents about it they'll think it's a scam to leech money out of me (yes, they even think well known companies do it). I especially don't know how to put shipping labels on packages, or even if I even got the address right.

Once, yes. My Wii, back in like 2009 maybe, got fried. Power surge during a bad thunderstorm. It was kaput. Called Nintendo Customer Service to explain the problem, sent it in, and got a brand new Wii in return. For free. They did it free because they saw I was a Nintendo Power subscriber and I had a good history with Nintendo going by their databases.

Actually, mine was pretty good; February 2007, the Wii couldn't eject my WarioWare: Smooth Moves disc (thank Arceus it wasn't a rental game). Mom and I had to call them, then send the console in and got it back, with the disc in a separate bag. The best part was the hold music, which was the title screen from Twilight Princess.
