I know, I just wanted to know if you could add a clickable link to it.

You can use html code to link to an external image, IIRC. I don't quite recall how that was done.

I just tested something. Putting [noparse][http://pokedream.com/pokerep/images/sugimori/001.jpg http://pokedream.com/pokerep/images/sugimori/001.jpg][/noparse] links to the image with the image, although it does have the 'external links' box-arrow-thing next to it.
Putting [noparse]<span class="plainlinks">[http://pokedream.com/pokerep/images/sugimori/001.jpg http://pokedream.com/pokerep/images/sugimori/001.jpg]</span>[/noparse] takes care of that. To change what it links to, change the first url. To change what it displays, change the second url.
Just a reminder to people reading this, that shouldn't be used in the mainspace. Although I'm sure you already knew that.

Why not in the mainspace? Because it needs to be on the Archives like you suggested, in which case it should be done as TTE said at the bottom of his last post. However to prevent the Archives being flooded with personal images, there's a limit of three. If a user wants to have more than three personal images on their userpage, then they can hotlink them from an image hosting site, and they can then also use the image as a link.
For Talk pages, I imagine it could be used for providing sources when something is questioned, or when something new is revealed. For example, showing the image, and linking back to the part of an official site from which it was obtained. (Some of which may then be uploaded to the archives)
